Lost 171lbs this year and looking to get down to a fairly ripped 250 by summer. That's another 111lbs

Lost 171lbs so far with very little exercise. I've found as I've lost weight I've got more active, but I'm not actually doing any "working out".
-
Lost 9lbs this week so far lol. But that's cuz I went from maintaining at 2600-3000 cal to a strict measured 1800 max and cut out the fast food so the salt is down
-
I was maintaining for the last 4 months..... now back at it hard. 1800 cal ceiling!
-
I lost 162lbs in 6 months.... it said to lose 1lb a week to take in 3700 cals per day I took in 1600-1800 Ive spent the last couple months maintaining my loss but now I'm trying to get back to it. Yesterday was 1809 and I'm hungry lol but if you can psyche yourself up for being hungry you can do it. Eventually the hunger…

That all makes sense.... my only point to add is, when people say they are hypothyroid and "can I still lose weight" most responses are based on the initial premise that the OP has taken the steps needed to get on the right dose of synthroid to level themselves out. We use the term hypothyroid to describe our condition,…

500g frozen Thai veggies in 650ml Thai curry soup 591 cals! Having trouble finishing it and it's around the same Cals as 1 Big Mac.

I'm down 162 and have another 125 to go to goal. If you are serious feel free to add me. My diet sucks a lot most of the time but Its really true that it comes down to calories in v calories out. Good luck
-
Also lost 162lbs in 6 months drinking Coke Zero I lost weight because I started taking in less calories than my body was utilizing. Nothing more nothing less.
-
I lost 162lbs during the first 6 months of this year and I had a total thyroidectomy a few years ago. I'm currently just maintaining but about to get back to losing. Biggest key to my loss was taking ownership of my own overeating. I was putting way too many calories into my body and that's why I was gaining weight. MFP…

I'm down 161lbs since last Xmas with little to no exercise. For me it's totally CICO. I eat junk often, especially McDonald's, I like the food plus their strict portion controls means I can be pretty sure he calorie counts are pretty close. That being said, losing weight makes me want to eat healthier, I like eating…

Total thyroidectomy here.... Lost 161lbs since December.... So don't let anyone try to tell you it can't be done. Once you decide it's time.... And are on the right synthroid dose. You can make it happen

Back in nov when my doc was trying not to cry while telling me he didn't think I would be here in 5 years if nothing changes. Down 161lbs now

It's made from wood that was reclaimed from a Chinese junk fishing trawler that sank in a river in China about 100 years ago. They salvaged it and made tables out of the wood ;)
-
Down 161 lbs now
-
148 lbs down here and I eat crappy food all the time because I get too lazy to make stuff or in last weeks case I was down with the flu. I just eat far less of it and make it fit my calorie goals for the day.
-
Ahh Facebook science..... Making us all dumber 1 idiot at a time.

If money isn't an issue then check out Soylent. Not even gonna get into all the advice others will no doubt give since you arnt looking for any.

I've lost an apparent average woman. Well make that 2 the gf and I broke up Monday too lol.

While I respect your doctors opinion and it is good to exercise and move around. I know at our weights it can be painful on the joints. If he is saying he wants you to get more exercise as a way to lose weight, I would respectfully dispute his advice. There is nothing that says you can't do both, the exercise will make you…
-
That's not really accurate. If you drink 2L of soda a day that's over 800 Cals.... Every 10 days that's 8000 = just over 2lb cal deficit. That's 6lbs a month. It doesn't take long to add up.
-
Forget the exercise, weigh and record everything you eat and make sure you eat at a deficit. I've lost 141 lbs since Xmas and I am very sedentary ..... Well I was.... More active now because I feel much better. Contrary to what shows like the biggest loser want you to think, losing weight has very little to do with…

I've lost 141 lbs since Christmas and have done no specific exercising. Its totally CICO.

If you have an iPhone it is probably the internal pedometer function of the phone sending info to MFP which ends up doubling your calories burned. I had the same issue and it seemed like the last MFP update someone left the default iPhone setting on instead of off. Settings/myfitnesspal/motion and fitness button should be…

Funnily enough I have the exact opposite thing going on. I'm morbidly obese still (down 130lbs) and 43 male and my resting heart rate is always 49-51 I have a Fitbit blaze and its bang on with the hospital monitors. Very strange.

Don't recommend slimfast but I do occasionally incorporate high protien meal replacements in my daily routine. You will hear people go on about how they arnt good to use because unless you intend to drink them all the time you arnt changing your eating habits, etc etc... But I use them in places I normally don't like…

You can do it. I'm down 125lbs in 7 months. I'm also in the group Sasha posted. Feel free to add me if you are serious :)
-
I'm down 125lbs in 7 months and I wouldn't say I eat clean at all... But what I did learn to do was count my calories and understand how much I was consuming before. Now I'll have A hamburger instead of 3. I cut sugary pop out completely as its empty Cals that don't make me feel full, and i try to limit foods I can't…

I didn't see it mentioned here but one of the biggest tips I found was to try not to walk around barefoot at all... Even walking around inside. I always wear sneakers around inside and I find it's pretty much gone now
