  • Good morning! Weigh in day is here! After having my scale sit on idle or bounce back and forth for a few months it was nice to see it move downwards this morning! • 🎉 Hello and Happy New Year to you all! I have been on my weight loss journey since April 2019. It has been a roller coaster ride with plenty of ups and downs and turns along the way. I hit a stumbling block recently and became discouraged. I started allowing bad eating habits creep back in and then guilt followed. 2020 was…
  • Good morning lovely ladies! Oh how I have missed you! I have had a lot going on in the last few months and was feeling overwhelmed and lost. Even though I was logging daily my heart just wasn't in it. I found old eating habits slipping back in and honestly gave into them. Of course that leads to feelings of guilt and then…
  • @BeUncommon Even 20 plus years I still have moments where I break down if I talk about my dad or think about how terribly sick he was before he passed away. I try to hold on to the good memories. He never got to see me get healthy. But I feel he knows and would be proud of how far I have come in my journey. I am doing this…

  • It wouldn't let me edit my post so I will just add that I have lost 30% of my starting body weight! When I started my journey last April I would have never dreamed this was possible. The overall number I have to lose was (and still is) overwhelming that I have to focus on small goals. On to the next 10%. Have a great day!!

  • @bidingmytime, I also prefer salty, savory over sweet! I can pass a sweet buffet without thinking twice. Put me in front of a table of snacks, portion control becomes nonexistent. Well it used to. Most days I have a pretty good handle on it. Now catch me around TOM all bets are off. That is the one time I actually crave…
  • I'm focusing on the next 5 lbs. It will mark a loss of 30% of my starting weight!!

The middle of April will mark a year…
  • I know the 5 week prediction when you complete your diary is just an estimate, however tonight when I finished my diary it gave me a number I haven't seen probably in 15 years, maybe a little more. It showed 199.4lbs!!! This was so inspiring just to see it is on the horizon. After coming a good distance on my journey and…
  • @speyerj I love a tortilla but I dont like using too many calories on them. I found these at Walmart. They are 100% wheat with flaxseed. Only 50 calories per serving and they are good on fiber and low in sugars. Only thing is they need to be refrigerated after opening. I think you would like if you haven't tried them!!
  • @majesticdj Welcome! You have great goals and I have no doubt you will meet them! You have found a wonderful group of ladies in this thread! I have been on my journey for nine months and I still have to remind myself occasionally to have patience. This is not a sprint but a marathon. I didn't get this way over night and it…
