As long as you are in calorie limit you can't gain weight. You can eat burgers and drink soda everyday within your calorie limit and lose weight but for me i rather eat fruits and lean protein cause health is more important.

Well, I agree with the part about eliminating foods that you cant stop eating. I eliminated fizzy drinks 6 years ago and I never even think about drinking it again. I try eating as healthy as possible and these foods only make me crave them even more! So for me only eliminating works. But we are all different :)
