I am from the NSW South Coast, but Canberra is pretty close. *Just did an Aqua Aerobics class. Great! But now I am very hungry...

Hello! I am also an Aussie girl, early 50’s, need to lose about 19 kilos. Currently watching the same half kilo go up and down. Very annoying! (Could that be Lake Burley Griffin, nieshynoo1?)

I am training to be an Aqua Aerobics instructor, so I try to get to Aqua classes at least 3 times a week. I also teach little children to swim, so I swim myself at least twice a week. I have just taken up Floatboard, sort of Pilates on a big board on the water...because I can get it on my pool payment plan, and because I…

Water activities do make you hungry, eh? I make sure I drink a lot of water - which is why I rush out of the pool to the bathroom, but still! *I have found just driving in the car makes me hungry. Maybe because there is forward pressure on my stomach? I have to tell my inner “I’m hungry “ voice to shut up, you’re just…

Might look at the water jogging! I did actually change my settings to a more active one...
-
Well, I will just allow it as a bonus. (Trailing up and down through water lugging children is a bit more tiring than vacuuming, I must say! 😉)
-
Just started last week. It will end in a week or so as the schools finish their swimming programs. Then I might get a bit of individual work in January.

(To cwolfman13) I agree about doughnuts- unless they are hot and rolled in cinnamon and sugar! Easy to resist, anyway ;)
-
Oh, dear, kshama! I hope you are okay! I am just musing on the figures showing up on my ‘nutrition’ page. Be well.

Thank you so much for your replies! I checked a few of my common entries, and indeed there was no iron in the information. I have oats in either porridge or muesli every morning. I have been trying to eat whole foods as much as possible, so no iron-enriched cereal or bread. I have had slightly low iron counts in blood…

Thanks, Andrea, I will check! :)

Oh, well done! (I love Dr Who, too! 😀 )

Great work!

I needed this today. Thanks!

Did not log on Easter Day. Indulgence!
-
Hallo... I was 50 in January. I have about 10 tp 20 pounds to lose, but they are hanging on grimly!
-
Happy Easter, rsmotivated, and everyone! Nearly there!
-
Two more days...!
-
Keep well, people! We had a special meal to welcome home my daughter for the long weekend. Wine would have been nice!
-
Yes, jillybean! And in the last few days, I've been having dinner really early in order to get to amateur theatre rehearsals. It's meant I don't crave a glass of wine! I do want chocolate, though... Never mind, the Easter Bunny will be here soon!
-
Good on you, Rae! I'm ticking off another day, here!
-
Well, I gave up logging on Friday after breakfast, as it was the last day of term and I ate fattening stuff I don't want to think about. Logged on Saturday. Am having a very light day because I have put on TWO kilos this week. Ugh! Now I'm hungry, and my daughter has made a cake ( just to spite me, I suppose!) Only a week…

Still logging! Somehow I put on a whole kilo in a day, without even doing anything wicked - rats. My daughter is on a school trip tonight and my husband and I thought we would go out on a rare 'date'... I might have to use my 'Get Out of Jail Free' card just this once for one little glass of red...
-
Really sick of this now. Come on Easter!
-
Wow, rae, I think you were entitled to toast that baby! Congratulations on being a grandmother! That outshines our efforts at moderation, I think. So, just two weeks to go to Easter ( more or less). Have not bought eggs yet - that's always a last minute thing for me ;) .
-
Hi, everyone! Still logging away. I really wanted some wine with my meal today, but my husband says he doesn't have any craving at all... ( maybe he is sick, heh heh). So, I didn't have any. The weight is slowly coming off, too!
-
Hooray! The sun is out this Sunday, never more welcome! I'm feeling great, didn't drink last night although there were people over for dinner and there was alcohol available. I'm off to weed the jungle that used to be a garden!
-
Another Friday with no celebratory drink! We're over halfway through Lent, people! Keep it up!
-
@RaeBeeBaby that vinegar thing sounds interesting. (Also, I have never heard of blueberry vinegar! A bit exotic for an Australian - blueberries come in expensive little plastic boxes). Yes, I'm glad my husband is on boatd, too - I find it much harder to be good when others are not! So, we're still hanging in there. I wish…

Doing pretty well, thanks runnerbean! I've logged every day, haven't had a drink and have lost some weight!
