  • Yeah, I did recalculate, but I think that perhaps I need to be more careful weighing my food. I've been at this since January, and I admit to being a little tired of constantly dieting. :-)
  • I am almost at an air conditioner!! Got a small bale of hay left.
  • I've wondered about that diet. Maybe I should try it for a week. If it works, awesome. If not, no biggie. I would be very sad about loss of bread, tho.
  • I've had a bit more water today than usual to try to flush things out a bit. Also, TOM isn't an issue for me...hysterectomy in December took care of that. As I type this, I can see my socks' tops are digging into my ankle. That's not usual, so maybe it is just water. All I know is I'll be happy when it is gone. I like…
  • Oh yes. I've lost almost 50 pounds. It's just been this last week that I noticed such a high gain. I've gained other weeks, believe me, but nothing like this. And I am so hungry and just want to eat a burger or something, but I've worked so hard to lose what I have and don't want to ruin everything...it's just so hard to…
  • Oh, I understand about summer. I am a teacher and I'm trying so hard not to eat bad foods. I exercise too, but I find I am not as busy and food calls to me. I like the structure of teaching so I don't eat, but geez, I wish summer was easier.
  • I don't eat them, anymore. I used to eat, like, half of them, but my weight loss stopped completely. Now, I work out four days in a row, don't eat back the exercise calories, then take a day off for my body to heal up a little. So far, I've lost more weight in seven days than I'd lost in a month.
  • 194, size 16 or XL. 5"6
  • My biggest frustration is staying at or slightly above or below my current weight for a month and a half and losing NOTHING despite staying within 50 or so calories of my daily goal. And working out. And not eating what the rest of the family is eating. And still not losing. I know it will come eventually, but I didn't…
  • I have sleep apnea. Two years ago, I had my last overnight check--turns out I was "waking up" due to stopped breathing about 60 times an hour, which is terrible. Since I've lost 50 pounds, though, I find I do not need my machine anymore!!
  • Wow! To achieve that in one year is incredible. Great!!!!
  • Woot!!! :p Nice job!
  • I've noticed it on actual measurements, too...say, a "32" waist or a "36" waist. I can have two pairs of pants that are two different brands that say the same measurements, but one will fit better than the other. Bras, too! I'd love to have it be streamlined so they were the same. Also, I feel that I should not be a…
  • [quote="...womens size 10 are hard to find in cute styles without ordering online  [/quote] Try being a 12... I have to go to sites that cater to men who pretend to be women just to find cute shoes.
  • People have to have different sized frames...or something. It would certainly explain why I work out and diet, but I'm still two sizes heavier than friends of mine who weigh within ten pounds of me but wear two sizes smaller.
  • 00 makes me cry. I'll never be that size, and I don't think I'd look good at that size. I've got a large frame, and despite knowing this, it bugs me when I'll be a sixteen and others who weigh more than me are wearing 12s. It almost feels like it's not fair. But then again, if I was a 12, I'd be super happy!
  • I've lost fifty pounds now and have gone from a 44DD to a 36G! I'm going to look like a bizarre cartoon character if this keeps up!
  • I am now at 7 weeks. I'm getting pissed about it, too. I think of all the meals I haven't eaten, all the candy I didn't enjoy, and wonder why?! I am going to hold out, though. I've worked to hard to give up now. Although I will probably put my fist through a wall if I don't lose something soon.
  • Believe me, I don't find that in the least bit surprising. I'm probably all fatty and filled with gristle, too.
  • I confess that I still think about totally sexing up an ex-boyfriend of mine who cheated on me over 20 years ago! I know I shouldn't, as I'm married and have kids, and the guy cheated on me, but he was so GOOD in bed that I miss it. And...when I found out his first wife divorced him for cheating I did a little jig.
  • 198 pounds, 5"7, I wear an XL in tops and a 16 on bottom. I'm large boned.
  • About 1.5 months. It blows big time, especially when you're doing all the right things and not eating anything that sounds REMOTELY good. But I will make it through...I won't give up. I have a size 12 in my closet I'm dying to wear!~
  • This might sound dumb, but I try to get to bed by nine so I can't eat, as I am sleeping. I drink 2-3 glasses of water around seven-ish to curb hunger. For me, this works, but it sucks being in bed when it's still light out some times!
  • I have seen mini-Toblerone bars at Target (in a big bag). I don't know whether they come little individually or not, but if they did, why not walk to the store, buy one, and walk home? Then you get exercise AND candy. Or maybe buy the bag of the minis, give the bag to someone you trust won't eat them, and have them give…
  • I treat myself to a massage or maybe shoes every five pounds. When I hit fifty, I get to test drive a Miata, which is the car I plan to get myself when I lose all 100 pounds.
  • Are you actually trying to lose--I assume that you are. Maybe you have your calories set so low that your body is dying for food? Perhaps make a smaller deficit. Sometimes even 200 extra calories can take the edge off....sometimes.
  • Thanks for the replies. When I began dieting, I couldn't even pass the YMCA without shuddering. Now, though I work out just about every day, between 1/2 hour and 90 minutes. In all that time, I've only not exercised twice--my legs and feet hurt so bad I just couldn't. I haven't recalculated my weight loss calorie intake…
  • 7895 table tennis balls!!!!! (who knew 47 pounds meant so much?!)
  • Have you had your blood checked to make sure you're not anemic? I was exhausted like you are describing and when they checked mine, I had to go into the hospital in critical condition because my iron and oxygen stores were so low. I didn't even know that was a "thing."
  • I have lost 47. I began as a 42DDD and currently am sitting at a 38DDD but I am about ready for a bra fitting. Just trying to get to 50 to do it. I don't think I've lost inches in the ribs, but maybe a cup. I hope so. It's a pain in the *tweet tweet* to find pretty triple-anything bras.
