  • I think you're doing all the right things, but plateaus blow. It might take a while, but if you keep on keeping on, the weight will come off. BTW, a good motivator might be to compare your measurements when you began to now. It will feel good to see it!

  • I fell off the stationary bike at the YMCA. Then, two weeks later, I was trying to get out of the pool at the same YMCA and fell back into the water. Then, I distinctly heard someone say, "Isn't that the same woman who fell off the stationary bike a couple weeks' back?"
  • If I didn't occasionally splurge on a meal, I think I'd go crazy. It's ONE meal. Once a week, I don't think it will hurt. I know that I try and exercise a little more on that day to make the calorie hit less painful.
