Morning all! The most challenging days to be AF are upon us. My personal plan is to have none. The peer pressure will be over the top, but I will be strong and get through this with a clear head and a healthy attitude! :) cheers!

Interesting post for sure. Most Canadians have no idea what they are consuming. I cringe when I see other people's grocery carts filled with garbage processed foods I wouldn't feed to my dog! Hopefully RFK can turn your country around someday... :)

Welcome! I'm in Southern Ontario and can see Detroit on a clear day... lol I used to deer hunt in Michigan and it's a great state indeed! :)

Hello my LA friends. Had a real craft beer on Saturday after being AF for 90days. :( I did this to see if I could moderate my consumption. Well about 30min after the beer I felt a weird nausea and immediately regrated it. I see this experiment as a positive because now I know, and it won't happen again. So, Sunday I…

Good morning my sober friends! Bad news good news. :) Bad news is I had a regular beer on Saturday. I just wanted to see what would happen. :) Good news is I hated it. Felt really crappy and nausea for about an hour after. :( So, there it is I now know that alcohol is 100% a no go for me, and I can carry on with my…

Hello all! Today is 90 days AF for me. :) This was my original goal I set for myself, and I did it. lol I'm actually afraid to drink again because I know I can't moderate. I wish I could but deep down inside I know it would be a terrible idea for to drink again. So, I will just take it one day at a time and once the…

Very powerful message. When you stop drinking you give your body a chance to repair itself. If you don't stop drinking, you feed the chronic disease growing in your body. Yes, it is that simple!

Nicely done! :)

I don't accept FR anymore. The last few turned out to be scammers looking for easy $$...

You got this! :) We have an overnight stay on Dec 27th to the 28th in our Ontario wine country. Talk about tempting my journey to stay sober during the holidays... lol

Nicely said. I have been maintaining a good weight for me for some time now. I am finding it to be fairly easy as long as I follow my master plan. :)

The moral of the story is don't believe everything on YouTube... lol

Go back into a calorie deficit to lose 1 to 2 lbs per week. You will be back to normal in no time.

Excellent work everyone :) AF - 85 days Oh so close to my goal of 90days AF... :)

You are absolutely correct! I'm way better off not drinking but that nagging little voice is saying try to moderate! lol I am finding it very easy to maintain my current weight by keeping alcohol out of my body. My best bet is to hit 90 days then make a new goal of 120days etc etc... :)

Hunting clothes! didn't need them but wanted them.. :)

90 days AF will be this Friday! woohoo! After I hit this milestone, I need to decide if I will try to moderate or go for 120days. Not sure what I want to do yet... lol

I had the craving when I was eating a nice venison stir fry. Wine would have pared very well with it, I had to stop myself and tell myself it's just not worth it. Alcohol is the devil's juice! I'm good now and need to refocus on my progress... :)

yep I just reduced my sugar from sweets and reduced simple carbs like chips. Pretty simple for me to reduce them.

excellent progress! :)
