Motivation
Force yourself to be consistent, even when motivation fades. Success doesn’t come from a burst of energy, but from showing up every day, no matter how you feel.

Dairy making me sick!
I recently gave up all forms of Dairy & wish I would have sooner. I noticed about 2hrs after eating dairy I would start to get cramps & bloating. 5 day strength training routine
I found this 5 day strength training routine & it was exactly what I was looking for. Not overly complicated for this 48yr old lightweight & if I can follow it anybody can...lol BTW I skip the abs & cardio portion most days. I don't have enough gas in the tank to do all that yet.…

Strong lifts 5x5 really does work
I am still in the early stages doing strong lifts 5x5 & really enjoying it. Helping me to stay focused & I know exactly what I will be doing when I get to the gym. A slow progression to ensure good form & reduce the risk of injury. No more working out on machines. I am usually in & out of the gym in less than 60min. I feel…

Right knee pain
Well I am only in week 2 of stronglifts 5x5 & I have developed right knee pain. I am going to have to stop squatting for a while until it subsides. I had a trainer start me off checking my form & it was all good when I started. I have been following all the tips to keep the stress off my knees but it didn't help. I think…

Appetite shrinking observation
I started to eat much better for about 21 days now. I have noticed my appetite is much less than it was before I started. I am exercising Mon to Fri most weeks & burning calories/strength training. I am finding it hard to consume what MFP is telling me to. Maybe it's just my body adjusting to a lower volume of food.

Keep going over on my sugar
Doing really well overall on all food categories except for Sugar. Most of my Sugar is coming from fresh fruits (berries/apples) so I am not all that concerned. I do have a few foods I can cut-out so all I can do is keep calm & carry on... :)
