@pamperedlinny Thanks yes. Small goals though 5lbs is not small,lol especially during the month where food will flow abundantly . It will take a large amount of restraint. However I am keeping a positive attitude and will work to achieve the lost.

im late checking in but i crashed sorta kinda meaning i was exhausted. I worked 8 shifts in a row. anyway I did do cardio monday, tuesday rest and do not full body workout. I plan to weigh in on Friday to close out the month. My goal is 2lbs but honestly I will be okay as long I didnt gain. . Everyone have a great week.

fellow nurse here, I totally relate to you. Just remember it will take time and effort but you got this. It is not simply weight loss it is a HEALTH journey. Even as health professionals we must get back to the basics and get ourselves together so that we may care for others.

The same thing happened to me in July. I adjusted protein intake and ate a banana a couple of days to add potassium and at the next weigh in I dropped 5lbs which equaled out . You are correct we are programmed to obsess over the scale I am guilty of it as well. Keep going and dont give up. <3
