  • 30 minutes of dance + 20 minute walk. 8 day streak for me so far. Under calorie goal and right at carb goal. :)

  • I was on WW where I felt hungry all the time. I ate fruit to make the hunger go away since it was 0 points, but then I would only lose maybe 1/2 lb a week and I felt I was working way too hard and sacrificing so much to only lose 1/2 lb. I quit WW and started watching carbs and increasing protein. Now I lose 2-3 lbs a week…
  • I can only lose weight at a normal pace (2 lbs a week) if I stay with low carb. It can get difficult. I tend to get to a point where I just do not want to eat at all. I try to stay between 30-40 carbs per day. I lose best if under 30. I can tell you one thing that is vitally important. You MUST eat some carbs with every…
  • DAY 1 Tracked meals, and exercise. Stayed within my goals.
  • I have eaten the exact same salad for lunch every day since September. I love it and do not get tired of it. It is nutritious, yummy, and within my calorie and carb goals for a lunch meal. I may one day just never want to see it again, but for now I plan to eat it again tomorrow. :)
  • Whole wheat tortilla with chicken, cheese, green pepper, onion and salsa is one of our favorite low carb meals. We also like grilled fish and asparagus, Lemon Chicken and green beans, Turkey Cheese Burgers and slaw, and one of my faves...turkey kielbasa and cabbage. I do encourage to drink "Zero" a 0 carb Gatorade to…
  • I would be interested. I just joined a 30 day work out challenge, if you want to join that, or we could start another if you have ideas.
  • I would like to join. I dance 30-45 minutes a day and walk the treadmill at work for 20 minutes every day this week so far.
  • I love ST goals. I am in! SW 180 CW 171 GW (on St Patty's Day) 163
  • I have a horrible time finding regular bras that fit. I am 34I. So not that big around but huge up front and sooooo have never been able to find a sports bra that fits. If anyone knows of any that fit freaks please share.

  • I agree with Kimyrachel. It is more about how you feel and your healthy eating than it is what the scales say.
  • I cannot just watch calorie count and exercise and lose weight. I have tried many times and always fail. I must watch carbs too. Maybe you should try that. I watch Fat, Carbs, Calories, and Calories burned. It works for me.

  • Can't have too many friends.
  • I read something lately that said you have to move first and that will produce motivation. I tend to agree. If I sit and look at my dirty house I am not motivated to clean it, but once I make myself get started; I become motivated and clean without grumbling. Same with going to the gym or eating healthy. Once I make a move…
  • My weight loss is often very slow. Being older does that too most of us. If I watch carbs I will lose faster...just a little tip. I agree with Shanteltara. At least 30 min of exercise is essential and I try to watch my calories and carbs daily until a certain date then have a little cheat day if I have met my weight loss…

  • I was losing weight very slowly...like a half a pound a week. That is too slow because all it takes is a few accidental calories over goal and you can gain it right back. I started watching carbs as well as calories and made another exercise goal (added 1000 more steps per day to my regular activity...added onto my 4-5…
  • Hello, I am 56 and I will tell you it gets harder as you get older (until elderly then it goes back the other way). I do low carb as well but to keep it healthy I also watch fat grams and calories. It is the only thing that works well enough for me that I do not just throw up my hands and quit. I have a very slow…
  • I did P90x when it first came out and it was very difficult but I saw quick progress. I do believe it is one of the best home work outs out there.

  • Sorry my computer is being weird. I did not mean to post that H. How can II join? What will we be doing?
  • I read it somewhere and noticed that it is true. If I set all day on the couch I do not want to do my housework, but as I get started I feel motivated to finish. Same way with going to the gym or reading my Bible. Getting started is the key to staying motivated. Start each day.

  • Hello CJ, please do not take offense, but you need to change your profile pic. Picturing yourself with a plate of donuts is no way to become motivated to lose weight. I for one cannot look at tempting food while munching celery, if you know what I mean. If you do not mind my honesty; I will be happy to be your friend on…
