If you're really uncomfortable with your waist dimensions, you could always try waist trainers. But I'd recommend against it. Just get your Dr involved if you do end up trying it. Here's a basic source about it.

Any kind of veggie wrap :) throw down a tortilla, put hummus/peanut butter on it, throw in sliced veggies (cucumbers, peppers, etc are always good) and roll 'er up.

If you have any self control, just grab a bag of dove/hersheys pieces from the store :) they're a great treat every now and then!

If you use a heartrate monitor to measure the calorie burn of your exercise, I'd suggest eating back all of it. If you find out what your calorie burn is from MFP or an exercise machine, I'd eat back about half of it (it's normally inaccurate, leaning towards being larger). I switched from whole wheat tortillas to spinach & whole wheat tortillas (ole brand, at Walmart). The difference is almost 100 calories, plus EXTRA fiber!! :D

Welcome! This is might be a long journey for you. The best advice I have is that when you "screw up" (and you will: go over on calories, skip workouts, etc.)... don't stress it. Brush it off. There will always be a tomorrow :)

How much of it are you using? I only put a tablespoon (about 10g) in a giant shake and it doesn't do anything for texture or taste. Is your flaxseed fresh? If the problem is definitely flaxseed, you can switch it out for Chia or other alternatives.

Beachbody's workout DVDs (P90X, Turbofire, Insanity, etc.) are consistently awesome, but cost a pretty penny. Jillian Michaels DVDs are also pretty tough and much more affordable (plus are normally available at Walmart/Target).
