No more putting it off, stick to your MFP calorie deficit and you will be healthier and slimmer within your 50's!

Not sure on exact numbers but mine is always worse after eating salty foods, probably higher water retention. The worst gain in weight I have logged was the week before my period, where ny weight went up 7lbs. Has always returned to normal/less by next weigh in.

When i told my parents about the app and losing weight, I kind of forced my way in to dinner plans. I helped decide on meal plans and shopping lists and will now occasionally cook for the whole family. My mun has even downloaded the app as well. Maybe just be honest and sincere and see if you can work something out. Help…

I am close to your weight, at 224lbs. Feel free to add me, diary is always open but nowherr near perfect.

I don't go out for a drink that often, but when I do I generally drink too many calories rather than eat them. I think if drinking makes you want to eat than avoid getting into that state. However one beer on a sunny afternoon shouldn't harm and can be a great way to relax.

To be honest, everyone is going to have an opinion whether you like it or not. It's got to 100% you behind the driving wheel for motivation and commitment. I have been overweight my whole life, I went to university and lost probably only a stone (I wasn't keeping track but got nice comments). When I moved back home,…

I am in the UK, if anyone is still looking for local friends :)

I recently went to an italian restaurant and before I went, had a quick browse on their website to get a good idea of the nutritional information. If you can do this I would recommend. The healthiest I found was the chicken and spiced meat dishes. However I still had a pizza (more italian) and made room in my calories to…

I wouldn't be able to only eat once a day, would probably faint at some point during the day. On the other hand I have calculated what I would usually eat at than italian restaurant, three courses and it comes to 200 calories more than my daily allowance. Kinda gutted aha

I weigh myself every week rather than everyday. I feel like I would get a bit obsessive if I did it everyday. Nice to just focus on your food and lifestyle and then see the result at the end of the week and then restart.

1760 is my MFP setting for losing a pound a week. Started at around 231 pounds and lost around 5 pounds so far. So working nicely and isn't so drastic that I feel hungry. Got a lot more to go :)

First time browsing here on the challenge so I thought I would give this a go! :) SW - 228 GW - 208 I am pretty new to MFP so this will be quite a milestone for me :) Next weigh is 18th April!

Have you recalculated your BMR as you have lost weight?
-
Congratulations! I am currently starting weight loss and am near your starting weight. Great to see your transformation. Did you rely more on food changes or exercise?
-
That's quite a lot of weight to lose in only 4 months. Try not to push yourself too hard and cause yourself injury. Good for you for making the change though. I am currently 16st 3lbs and am looking to get down into my healthy weight range 10/11 stone

Hi everyone, I am in the exact same position. I am 21 and weigh 16 st 3lbs as of today but my weight flips flops all the time. I am looking to get serious with tackling my weight problem now and would love the support.

I am looking at 100 pounds as well, but only jjust started. Great job losing those 20! How long you been at it?
-
Any advice on how to start early morning workouts? At the moment I can barely wake up by 7, let alone earlier and go to the gym.
-
Anyone feel free to add me :)

I am just starting out as well and it's great to hear how well you have done in 20 days! I have always been one to snack on crisps/biscuits and so for a week I actually just wrote down how much I ate each day without making any changes. It really helped to motivate me to stop just seeing it written done how bad they were…

I am looking to lose around 75-100 pounds as well. Feel free to add me!
-
I am on the same goal as you. It would be great to have a friend to support each other
-
I am exactly the same position as you. It is difficult. I agree with the comment above though. Make is about little but sustainable changes to your lifestyle that you gradually increase on.

Just starting out, I am a Londoner :)
