  • Yes! I lost about 30 lbs and gained it all back by emotionally eating during a rough year. Back at it again! Feel free to add me
  • Im back at it again, too. I got down to 135 lbs, and as you, a series of events caused me to lose myself and i gained all my weight back. I'm at 162 pounds yet again :( it scares me, i worked so hard and am almost at an "obese" bmi - that was my wake up call before and once again a wake up call. I need to get in a better…
  • I'm going to colorado and will be doing a lot of hiking, i was curious if maybe i was over doing it but after these responses i dont think so
  • I hate to be "that jerk" but it seems you're trying to find an excuse on why you're not losing weight and it's as simple as not logging accurately. Its very easy to go over calories by eating a handful of nuts and a piece of fruit. As others have said, medical reasons have been ruled out, you're just not being honest with…
  • Im 5'3 and also aiming for 120. Feel free to add. We're pretty much at the exact same stats. I'm roughly 145 lbs too
  • Wait.. i'm confused. Were you eating at 1,200 because you were wanting to lose weight or were you trying to maintain? Are you lifting to gain muscle? Or just a part of your weight loss routine? If you know you've been binging its probably weight gain. As in fat. It could very well be a combination of fat and muscle gain…
  • My scale seems to lie to me and show no lose for weeks at a time, and then before i know it im down 5lbs. :D so feel free to add me
  • That's why MFP gave you such a low number, you picked an aggressive plan. It'll be a bit unhealthy to lose so much, so quickly with your stats. You really should aim for 1lb a week. And are you SURE you accueratly logged those calories. Have you been losing inches? Do you know what you eat for maintance?
  • Organic generally DOES help animal wellfare. I'm not sure where you're getting you information but there are strict guidelines that they have to follow in order for an animal product to be listed as organic. That includes pasture rotation, living habits. From added added growth hormones to other forms. You can check more…
  • Cereal is something i think taste better. The "simply" ones are something i find yummy. Hot chocolate/syrup. The milk, but i buy that locally and it has a rich taste, not bland. My eggs are better, you can see the difference. I find it so funny with all the hate, though. You guys either must not do research or really live…
  • And remember the scale can be frusterating and can hide weight loss due to so many factors. I kid you not, i weighed myself on the 21st and was the same weight i was for the past couple weeks. Weighed myself this morning a dropped 3lbs??? Obviously i didn't drop that in two days. Why it showed now is beyond me.
  • What i don't understand is why they group everyone into an "average". Why should a 200lb man vs a 170 lbs man eat the same amount of fruits and vegetables? Or why a 120 lbs female should eat the same? It's never made sense to me, personally. Though i think *most* people do need to eat more i think it greatly ranges from…
  • Did i say genetically modified? I was stating as a whole. Pesticides are not natural and in no way should be consumed. GMO products cause all sorts of risk, including the environment and risk changing wild population plants. Though most don't run risks health wise, there a certain products so modified we might as well be…
  • Yes i buy organic. Especially fruits and vegetables. We do have our own garden and don't tend to use pesticides unless we have to. And yes i read labels, and stay away from modified anything if i can. Why? Because i care about my health. I'm trying to lose weight, which means i'm trying to overall be healthier. And that…
  • Im sure this has been said before but i'll say it anyways. You must be doing crash diets. You must want an easy fix. And you must want to feel sorry for yourself. 1. There is NO easy fix. If dieting was easy we'd all be skinny. Its trial and error. It could be yo yo, gaining and losing. But guess what? That doesn't mean…
  • Add me :) i've been back for a while but have been deleting lots of old friends that haven't been on. Need some new ones
  • There are these organic rice cakes that i adore. Has a little chocolate that satisfys my chocolate craving. About 6 little disks are 110 cals. Considering i could easily eat the whole bag and they're far from filling it hits my cal goals in a bad way. Nuts are outrageous too... my cashews are 190 cals
  • 20lbs is doable, but it'd be at least 4 month to achieve. That's about 5lbs a month which is more than accetable for weightloss. Just cut calories and try to grt active at least 30 minutes a day. Walk, run, ride a bike, swim. Just move and get your heart working.
  • *** i started my "21 day challenge" (Jillian's shred workout videos) January 30th, so i'm a little a head ** My last weigh in for that was February 6th at 150 lbs. (was at 155 lbs) CHALLENGE STARTING WEIGHT: 150 lbs 02/13: 02/20: 02/27: 03/06: 03/13: 03/20: 03/27: 04/03: 04/10: 04/17: 04/24: 05/01: 1. GOAL WEIGHT RANGE FOR…
  • I guess im the only one who steps on the scale with clothes on? I get up in the morning and use the restroom and step on the scale with my pj's on. I might test the water retention after a workout/rest day and see if that actually matters for myself, though. Never considered that to be a possibility.
  • I have the P90x series and wasn't a huge fan. One thing that seems to be an issue are the DVD's not playing in the laptop. 80% of mine only work on a DVD player which is an annoyance for me. I workout in my basement so they've been useless for me.
  • Im currently on a 21 Day Challenge and then i have another 30 day challenge, though im just doing workout videos at home :)
  • The only way to tell is if you start dropping at an alarming rate. I was stuck at 145 lbs for months and bam, all of a sudden i was 135lbs. Weight has been weird for me, but inches, especially in my waist, seem to melt off
  • Only a month? Sorry. Actual muscle gain takes MONTHS. Especially for a women. Best thing is keeping up with protein and getting fruits and vegetables in. If you're trying to lose weight, you need to go into a calories deficit. And understand machines at the gym and here on MFP tend to overestimate calories burned.…
  • I preheat with my oven to 400F with my pan IN the oven. Dump the bag(s) onto it. Coat with olive oil, salt & pepper and cook until how i like them. I prefer softer vegetables but that's me. Decrease the time and watch.
  • Even at 1200 calories and your total weight/height/activity level you'd still be LOSING weight. Before you add more vigorous activity you need to get more help.
  • Why would you think you'd become anorexic? Losing weight and eating healthy doesn't mean you'll gain a disorder? Do you have problems to begin with? Mentally wise?
  • I have 30 lbs by June. Add me? :)
  • Why cant you roast frozen vegetables? I do all the time and they're fine.
  • My goal is 120, and im 5"3. But afterwards i plan to strength train and tone up. It all depends on you, i seem to lose weight in my stomach, and keep more weight on my legs. Where as my mom keeps more weight in her stomach so she can easily be better at 115 lbs if she's worrying about a flat belly.
