New normal? Unless you literally sit about doing nothing i highly doubt your calorie intake to lose weight is your "new normal"? The new normal is learning to eat properly and portion control.

My thing is it's too HOT in the summer, no central AC can be a killer when trying to workout. But i also then can go swimming... both have its up's and down and bring about a refreshing change, i think.

It's all about mind control. Eating sweets isn't bad, you need to learn moderation. Maybe stay more towards 1500 cals so you can give yourself a sweet treat daily?

http://www.dummies.com/health/how-to-get-your-body-measurements/ there are a lot of good videos on youtube, too

I need to lose 30lbs. Same pretty much the exact same as you, roughly 2 stones. My goal is to be close to that by June for my trip to Colorado. Feel free to add me :)

I've learned to take one day at a time. And as others have said, you need to take a step back and pat yourself on the back. You're doing fine. We all have bad days, and that's okay. Brush it off and keep going. Add me if you want.

Add me :) i was at 165 lbs myself. Trying for 120 too. Workout everyday (doing a Jillian Michaels 30 day challenge) and would love friends

Everyone is different but i would but yourself in inactive. Majority of your day is spent sitting. I feel a "slightly active" person is someone who is generally on their feet most of the day. I stand a lot for my job and go home to walk my dog (good 40 minutes) but i have myself set as inactive. And add calories through…

The best way to check is using a weight. If you can weight a 10lb item at 10lbs then its not broken. You can realistically "gain" upwards of 10lbs in a single day though. How salty your food is, exercise, clothing, etc.

Im in ☺️ i have a vacation in Colorado and need to get in shape for, not *just* lose weight. I leave in June though, i have about 4 months to lose around 30lbs.

Im in ohio. That's close ☺️

I really love fruit (strawberries, raspberries, apples, peaches). I LOVE baked carrots, season witha little salt and you have that sweet/savory goodness.

Feel free to add me

Because this is something i want. You're going to fail. No one said the journey would be easy, you just need to take it one day at a time. I want to be healthy, not just skinny. I want to feel comfortable in my body. I want to look into the mirror and not point out every flab. And i ultimately want to be fit for my…

Im 23 here :)

You try, you fail. You try, you fail. The only true failure is when you stop trying. We've all been there and done that. Welcome back.

Add me, and anyone else :) i'm 5'3 and i got to a 165 pounds at one point too... been struggling a long time. So i completely understand what you're going through.

I label them as bad because i can't eat them

That is awesome! I'm also trying to conquer a 14er this summer, i'm off to Colorado! My weight loss goals, really pushing myself, is due to that trip. Lots of hiking! * I've always wanted to lose weight. I've never been happy with myself, so it's been a long standing goal of mine. * I'm pushing myself even more now because…

Im 23, that's close, ya? ☺️ i'm needing to lose about 20-30 more pounds, i started out having to lose 50!

I had sausage gravy a biscuits (homemade), bit of a treat day since it was Sunday. Normally i eat cream of wheats and sweeten it with honey, only thing that keeps me full

Oddly enough my meals have been pretty comparable in calories between breakfast/lunch/dinner. But in general my dinner is the biggest- i eat kind of early compared to others (at 5) and don't eat afterwards..

Im so glad im not alone on the egg bit... i've tried everything, even with toast it doesn't work well. I keep hard boiled egg(s) for a snack instead. Protein drinks of any sort never filled me up. I don't do them anymore for that reason, and for the simple fact its not really food. Smoothies do nothing for me, either. I…

Ever think of a stir fry? Pot pie? Just simply adding some lettuce to a sandwich?

I can be an accountability partner though i'm not doing the same plan as you.

My legs... Im pretty lucky in the sense that i lose weight moderately all over, but my legs still feel HUGE.

1. Weight loss isn't linear. 10 days and thinking you're going to lose a bunch of weight is happy thinking. Wait another week or so and then check back in. 2. Measure yourself along with weigh in's. Sometimes the scale doesn't show the inches we've lost. 3. Make sure you measure and real labels carefully 4. Track…
