Soooo... It's been about a month since my last video was posted, and I'm happy to say that episode 3 is "in the can", and ready to watch! This episode kicks off with two big announcements (one of them being a HUGE NSV), followed by a discussion about basic nutrition, and some chatter about staying motivated to work out!…

Great post, and congrats on your 5K! Much like yourself, I wasn't consistently serious about my weight until very recently (when it actually cost me something). Since then, I've dropped more than 70 lbs, and dealth with two "plateaus", which I've had a terrible time getting through in the past. First off, fluctuation is…

I was diagnosed about 3 1/2 months ago. It really lit a fire in me, and I cut loose on it. I could blab on and on here, but I started a youtube channel about this yesterday. It's very light on content, since I'm just getting started, but please check it out, and if you would like, subscribe. I'm going to be telling my…

So very sorry to hear about your friend, @ObesityWarrior. Very tragic when someone gets to that place in their life.

My next mini-goal is also my current big goal; 250 lbs. Once I get there, it will be time to re-evaluate my plan, set some new goals, and make the changes necessary for me to get where I want to go! 19 lbs to go, and I'm excited!

Fluctuations happen. Stay focused, keep working, and you'll get to where you want to be. I have fluctuated as much as 6 lbs before. Just take a deep breath, shake it off, and get back at it!

Hey all! Hope you're all having an awesome day. Yesterday's weigh-in was at 269.8. I'm out of the 270s!!!

Awesome. The one that I've been using is jefit.com. It has many of the same features, and the mobile app is great to use in the gym. I'll have to check out your link. Thanks!

Hi @Birgitkwood! Joining a gym is a fantastic idea. For me, it was essential. There are too many distractions at home for me to be able to work out and stick with it, so when I go to the gym, I keep focused on what I need to do to attain my fitness goals. I'm a 42 year-old fat white guy, and I had some reservations about…

I've been relentless in the gym. Today was cardio, and I put in an hour on the bike, 40 minutes of which was HIIT work at 30 second intervals. Also got a butt-load of walking in.

Still staying on track nutritionally. :)

Sorry I've been absent here in the group for a while. Work just keeps being crazy. Currently, I'm stalled out at 279 - 281. Been on this plateau for 11 days now. In an effort to get off the plateau, I have made a completely new exercise routine, and started it yesterday. Here's to hoping that the next few days break…

Rest day, but still got 11,000+ steps in.

Sorry I've been MIA for a bit, folks. Really busy right now, but I'm on task every day!
-
Rocked it today. :)
-
WOOO!!! 20 miles on the bike, and an hour and a half in the gym! I feel awesome.
-
Cranked out an hour on the stationary bike, followed by a half hour on the elliptical.
-
On task and under budget.
-
Under budget, though just barely.
-
Rest day!
-
Still working my plan.
-
Back day and a boat-load of cardio.
-
A solid 1-hour of cardio.
-
Under budget and on task!
-
Hang in there, and keep at it!

288 after a great weekend! That's BIG... :)
