  • Try a high protein diet. Get dry TVP, rehydrate in water and spices, then fry at med-high heat. Add canola oil, fry at high heat until little bits are burnt. If you can't find it locally, Amazon has it. Brand name Hoosier Hill. While you're on Amazon, get some MSG for chicken flavor, or Totole Mushroom Bouillon for beef…
  • She would have to keep 14-20% BF as an ideal amount to be ideally lean. 41%-20%=21% to get rid of. Which of 162 lbs is 34lbs. 162-34 is 128lbs, assuming she kept all current muscle. That is within a healthy weight because its a 22 BMI.
  • It'll come back once you start eating it again. Just make sure you're eating enough. I was like this and dropped all the way down to 97lbs because my appetite was at an unintentional 2lb/mo loss and would woosh all at once. The good side is that if you do lose, you get to plan out a nice, intentional binge.
  • Fitbit? Also same.
  • I have an excel budget sheet that I update every 1-3 days and a monthly one with big stuff like car repairs and medical expenses that gets updated yearly. I used unbury.me to check how much more I'd have to pay to be debt free in 10 years and its a consistent payment of $850/mo., even after my old car is paid off this…
  • That's what I was thinking. I eat 1600 cals a day and at least 70g protein. Cosplay. Wife and I build to compete. We've actually placed or won a minor award the last 3 conventions in a row. No. I'd have to do commissions. I'm not experienced enough to do this. Its interfeeing with savings and retirement. I will have $6k in…
  • I'm not sure what part is unbalanced. Carbs, protein, fats. Fiber and vitamins from fruits and vegetables. I did forget to add boxed pasta, flour, and the cheapest potatoes to this list. I had a written one months ago but lost it.
  • I asked my dentist about this a year ago. Diet soda is fine if you drink it with a meal. The additional generated saliva from digesting a meal helps in negating some of the diet soda's effects. But she said to drink it all with the meal. Don't be the person that sips on a bit every little while. That continuous sipping…
  • Low carb (Carbmaster at Kroger) or light greek yogurt. Most are 70-90 cal, but Dannon makes a light greek that comes with a topping and is delicious for 130 cal.
  • Drink (& calories per 8oz) * Powerade Zero (0) * Rockstars/Monsters (look for 0-10 cal) * Diet V8 Splash (10 cal-ish) * Ocean Spray Diet Cran Grape (5 cal) * Unsweetened herbal or fruit tea (brew yourself for 0 cal)
  • Delay occuring since 7am PST, July 6th. https://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2947120-fitbit-issues---july-6th
  • Lite greek yogurt is around 80-90 calories and 14g protein. And I've found offbrands for 70 cents a single serve cup.
  • I've been adding my adjustment by adding the excess amount Fitbit shows on the main food/calorie screen (# calories in, # calories over or under). I just add it as Exercise (minutes): Walking 15 min/km in the MFP diary. Right now Fitbit says: 1399 cals in, 53 cals over. So I know my total at this point in the day is…
  • https://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2945305-fitbit-sync-delays---june-22nd The sync problem is a known issue. No updates since June 22nd.
  • https://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2945305-fitbit-sync-delays---june-22nd @mizladee99 Sync is delayed.
  • I'm having issues, too. Last sync was 6-8 hours ago in the morning. Edit: works now.
  • You can also join the Fitbit Users group with 136k members if you haven't yet. If no one has yet posted here about sync issues, you can see if someone has over there. See you in August!
  • Also having issues here.
  • Do you mean excess quantities of added sugar? If so, nutrition labels will start showing added sugar soon. I was surprised to find a Larabar that had 20g sugar but 0g of it was added sugar. It was all from the fruit it was made of.
  • I originally picked 115lbs (21 BMI) because I was worried that even that would be too hard to get to. Even then, I was still slightly undereating 150 cals a day being active and kept losing. I finally stopped and gained 2lbs on purpose and settled there when I noticed it looked like my butt was sagging. The 2lbs minimally…
  • I weigh myself daily every morning. My "real weight" is whatever the lowest number is that month. If that number goes up or down, I consider that a legitimate weight change.
  • According to the nutrition facts, each packet has 1g fiber and 10 cals. 3x a day for 7 days is the price for $34.99. So you are paying $1.67 per gram of fiber. There are protein bars with fiber if you want something portable. I have a Costco bar with me that costs 90 cents and has 15g fiber (and 21g protein.) Tastes like…
  • @bpetrosky I am in Kentucky and got those Pure Protein bars at Walmart. I went down the road just an hour ago and bought two protein bars at a Kroger. Neither were taxed. I couldn't find the Kentucky laws on taxable foods so I have no information to check which store is "right."
  • I have the same issue. My Fitbit overestimates my movement at work. My "net" calories for maintenance with my Fitbit adjustment is 1000. But my actual eaten is around 1600.
  • I had a 10 year old size small top that fit perfect until my dryer decided to start shredding clothing. Now I have size S and XS tops that are a bit baggy on me. I found one store that I have a 2 in 3 chance of finding a small that fits like my old size small top. And I found a place selling pants I liked that fit. Bought…
  • Some people here and elsewhere mentioned having sugar addiction and were diagnosed with reactive hypoglycemia. This is an issue that will often look normal in terms of blood sugar on regular fasting blood tests. I even had issues and found out years later that reactive hypoglycemia is a thing on my father's side of the…
  • This is going to sound weird but I had a similar issue. Then I started watching anime online for ideas for my artsy hobby for 1-2 hours before bed, sitting in bed, and suddenly I started falling asleep like normal and staying asleep. I realized my problem wasn't looking at a lit screen in bed. My problem was listening to…
  • At a 18.1-18.3 BMI I had registered anywhere from 16.5-19% in body fat percentage, so I can see someone being a 17.3 BMI and 15.7% BF. Probably closer to 16-17% if you don't lift heavy.
  • The one time I looked at a Dick's Sporting Goods sale, I had the same issues in the women's section. The smaller the size, the fewer the amount of items. Everything was overpriced there anyway. Best place to look would be Amazon. They have a lot of off-brand sports wear for cheap.
