  • I would also appreciate the link to this cookbook! It sounds fantastic for my Keto. Thank you in advance.
  • Just found this delightful group. I need to be accountable to keep me motivated. SW: 288.8 GW: 200 9/10/19: 277.4. Goal for September is to: lose a total of 15 pounds for my first month since I lose a lot of water when I first begin. My exercise is limited due to my knee problem. I do go to the pool in my community 3 times…
  • Thank you for this thread! Today I have begun my re-entry to my lifestyle food plan. On May 16, 2016, I began my weight loss journey at 324 pounds and at August 15, 2017 I was 96 pounds down and weighed in at 227pounds. On 12/20/2017 I went to the doctor and I weighed 250. Up 23 pounds. For some reason I haven't found my…
  • I'm in too! I've been in Florida for Christmas and all the Christmas goodies were so tempting. I didn't go "Hog-Wild Nuts" but I did have some cookies on one day; some frosting on a spoon another day, airline snacks to and from....well you get my drift. I tried very hard. I started my KETO plan on 5/16/2016 and have lost…
  • I began my KETO diet on May 16, 2016. It has been 108 days and I've lost 41.2 pounds. The first week I lost 8 pounds alone. Then I would lose 4 to 5 pounds a week until week 6. Now, I will go a week and not lose anything, and due to the water fluctuation, my weigh-in day might just be the day I'm holding water. I last…
  • I had an experience last Saturday that has me SOLD on fat bombs. My husband took me to a very early breakfast as we had a full day planned and I ordered eggs and a ham steak - strictly very low carbs only 2 carbs. Then we went shopping and got home about 5pm - NO lunch. I was STARVING and couldn't even think, I was so…
  • Hello ladies! This is an interesting forum! I've been overweight all my life and that's been a long time. I even had surgery to lose weight, but that is not a cure. It's been ten years and while I kept most of the 140 pounds off, I did gain some of that back, and on 5/16/2016 I went to the doctor and weighed 324. Enough is…
  • I missed yesterday's posts and had to catch up. It amazes me of the peaks and valleys of all of our lives. Allie: I don't propose to give anyone advice. I've been in your shoes and when you get a "square belly full" you will step out of that narcissistic jerk's realm and live again. No one could tell me anything because I…
  • Good afternoon ladies! Been off the grid for a few days but have stayed steady on my Keto diet plan. This is the first time that I've been able to lose weight and not be hungry. I've done everything to lose weight, including a vertical banded gastroplasty in the 1980s, a gastric bypass in 2006 after which I had to have a…
  • Think it was Marcelyn said all us Texans and soon to be Texans could meet up in College Station with Cheri-soon-to-be-in-Texas-but still in Ohio now... Sure, why not? It's only a six and a half hour drive. :D Love Tex:cold_sweat: Hey, I'm game. It's a 2.5 hour drive from Dallas. I might convince Re in Texas to ride…
  • Just stopping by to say a quick hello to everyone. Office has been busy today. Busy means not hungry, so I'm happy. Hotter than Hateeze outside; 92 but feels like 102. I'd like to be a weatherperson. The only job I know that you can be wrong and still have a job. Texas is so hot. IremiaRe is a stone's throw from me here in…
  • Hi Karen. On a break and thought I'd check in. I'm on a low carb diet and oh that orange cake sounds wonderful; I'd eat box and all. Having said that the Jazzercise would probably cancel out the cake....and the hospital would put me on a heart healthy diet! My official weigh day is Sunday mornings. I'm on the scale with my…
  • Thank you so much for the warm welcome! I look forward to reading what everyone's up to. I'M on the train headed for involuntary servitude, er work, I mean and everyone looks like they're sucking on a pickle. I think it's the heat. Not even 7:30am and it's 81 with 74% humidity, which makes it sticky. Got a feeling Texas is…
  • Hi all! I am pretty new to MFP, but began reading early June some of the posts and then skipped over to June 19 to get a some idea as to who everyone is. Well, the individual I remember most is Penny, with the very pretty daughter, going to Prom. I'll just have to learn as I go. I was told by my doctor I'd gained weight…
  • I got a buy one, get one. It would have been better had I got none. I would be richer. I took every pill (flickers of hope!) and it didn't help my weight loss be any more weekly than it was previous to my taking it. The only people making money off this is snake oil salesmen.
  • Terry, I just began as well. Yes, it is addictive and the only easy way to keep a record of my eating. I love having an "accountibilibuddy" for support as I have a friend who is active on this site. And, look at all the new friends we meet! Good luck!
