Mornin' BBB. Me hates painting too. Slow but sure, you sound like you are healing up Skip. So if you are just as productive from home, what the eff do your co-workers care if you are in the office? I would think they would rather you stay home. A three bedroom structure sounds pretty fancy. I remember you telling us about…

Mornin' gents. Wonder what the world will be like in 7000 yrs? Time travel would be pretty cool. Love a good time travel story. Super busy at work. Be OP ;-)

Mornin' BBB. Where did the weekend go? Wowzers. Trying to catch up on posts. Brutal heat and humidity here. Too hot to do much outside other than the absolute essential chores. Watering the garden is OK because I can spray myself. Tomatoes and eggplants are loving the heat but only one out of 18 tomato plants is producing.…

Mornin' gents. Wow. I did not find time to post this weekend. Mea Culpa. Caught up on posts. I understand the stigma of the only one wearing a mask, Steve. I really do. I would try and find a really cool head sock (my preference-easier for me to breath through) or mask that would would divert the attention from "is that…

Ha! Bear showed up this am after I posted, and yes he is a big sucka. Dogs were going nuts so he decided to skedaddle before testing new bird feeder. Phone/camera was in other room charging and he vacated too quickly.

Steve, if he tests negative after testing positive then he won't be viremic and able to spread the virus. Antibodies may be protective, but are not infective. Although, the question is how did he get exposed? Will he get exposed again? Can he get infected again and able to infect others or is he immune? So ultimately, your…

Wow, Sam. That lady at your yoga class isn't just ignorant, she is just plain stupid. What are you going to do? Leg cramps last night. Probably got a bit dehydrated dog training yesterday. Be OP ;-)

Mornin' BBB. Long day off yesterday. Started with dog training with BTG, then made two house calls on the way hour plus drive home. Second house call was a litter of springer spaniel puppies for their first shots. Good way to finish the day, plus the breeder gave me a loaf of her beer bread. So good. Had first BLT of the…

Mornin' BBB. So Mary is going to work on Kelly's DS#1? Any body have the digital photo frames that are WiFi connected? Me dad got one for Father's Day and we can send the frame photos and videos through a portal. He is really getting a kick out of it. Have been so busy at work, thankfully the last week has eased up a bit…

Mornin' gents. Made a buffalo wing sauce for grilled chicken tenders last night. Was up all night eating tums. Lesson learned. Thanks, Mike. Me too! I desperately want to get back into a more intensive workout routine, but just haven't had the energy for it. Until recently, I felt exhausted after walking the dogs and light…

No. The bears are protected. You would get in less trouble if you shot a human. You would have to prove that life and limb were in imminent danger.

Yep, according to Wikipedia, MLS is close to over taking Baseball in popularity in the US. American football 37% NFL Basketball 11% NBA Baseball/Softball 9% MLB Soccer 7% MLS

Mornin' BBB. Wow, where is everybody? Hard to believe it has already been two years since your DFIL passed, Skip. Sincerest condolences to you and Carrie and DMIL. Something killed our bird feeder last night. I think it was a bear. Even though it was suspended over 8 ft on a cable, I think we have a big bear that could…

Mornin' gents. Maybe the pandemic is the opportunity for MLS to move up in popularity in US. Great to hear bike ride felt good. I used to ride my mountain bike a lot. In college, I rode my bike all over town and campus. Rarely got in the car. Bicycle seats just don't fit me very well at all unless sitting almost upright.…

Watching a young gray squirrel chase Blue Jays away from bird feeder. Ha! I should clarify. There was no preacher or congregation yesterday on the lake. Just me, Mother Nature, and my fly rod. My kind of churching lately. Back to work Monday. Be OP ;-)

Mornin' BBB. First caprese salad from garden tomatoes and basil last night for dinner. Been harvesting cucumbers for a week. Eggplants are exploding. Japanese beetles love eggplant. Striped beetles like the zucchini and cucumbers. I countered with spinosad spray yesterday afternoon. I would have treated sooner, but all of…

Afternoon gents. Went to church on the lake this morning. Kind of like Ozark. I could not talk the pike into eating my fly. Heat continues here too. Great to hear that kayak got wet, Steve! Be OP ;-)

Afternoon BBB. Wow. Its been 4 years on MFP. Thanks Dennis. That stir fried kale sounds really good, Dave. DW wants to start harveting the kale in our garden but is needs another week. I like a baby kale salad with a homemade garlic italian dressing topped with shaved parmesan. I would like to tell you I hooked a huge…

How's the back feeling Mike, Skip, Bill, and Dave?

Mornin' BBB. Fay is still yucking up the local weather. Not a good day for small boats on big salt water in North East. Turned on AC in my mini man cave and armory, mainly for de-humidification. Need a new dehumidifier for basement area. Tomatoes are loving this weather. Very robust plants. Thankfully this weather is a…

Day off. Dealing with remnants of Fay. Not a good time to take a small boat out on LI Sound. Guess I will have to organize garage and man cave. Be OP ;-)

Mornin' gents. Need to get my bike out. Good for me and help get Babe in shape for trials. Happy Morale Day. Hoping no back issues, Mike. Hummingbirds are so cool. Be OP ;-)

Mornin' BBB. Hot n' muggy. Bank of thunderstorms heading our way. I hate to say it, but the "guy" who is mowing my lawn while the tractor is still in the shop is doing a great job and I'm loving not having to do it. BBB OP ;-)

Afternoon gents. Late to the party. Happy B-Day Sam! Be OP ;-)

Sam, sorry that your Creek genetics are problematic for you. I did not realize that the Creek had such health issues. Growing up in Oklahoma, I developed an good picture of how raw a deal Native Americans received. The Trail of Tears was just a drop in the bucket.

Afternoon BBB. Happy Birthday Sam! Hot sun of a gun today. Yeesh. Picked up birds for training at 7 AM, drove an hour and trained dogs until noon, made a house call, had a meeting at rod and gun club 2:30-4 PM, now home catching up on voicemails and text messages. I need a day at work to recover from my day off. Yes, just…

Mornin' BBB. Muggy with rain coming. So glad for Tom getting his shop in ship shape. Such a feeling of accomplishment he must be feeling. Be OP ;-)

Sam, just read your soliloquy on history from July 4th. All true. I don't remember you ever saying that you were 50% Creek native American. You are probably not an Andrew Jackson fan, neither am I anymore since finding out how he treated native Americans. You are probably familiar with the saying "Lord willing and the…

Mornin' gents. Cooling off here, today anyway. Local racoon pack causing mischief. Stole one of DW's clogs last night. Found it way out in middle of yard. Guess it could be foxes, but we actually saw a couple of trash pandas trying to get into bird feeder the day before. Be OP ;-)

Mornin' BBB. Momma Moody! That GF sounds horribly spoiled. Wow. Yep, cool that pool down! Has it been salted yet? Work is killing me. BBB OP ;-)
