Also, you have to lose the drinking. It does more damage than we all realize. Not only did it make me eat more but it also contributed to my insulin resistance, which slows down the elimination of body fat.

Sounds like a good start, but don't get discouraged. Giving up today means starting all over again tomorrow. It's so much harder to take weight off than it is to put it on! Maybe try intermittent fasting ("IF"), where you fast for 12 to 16 hours a day and eat only during non-fasting times. For example, i stop eating at 7pm…

Let's do this!

I'm in. I do well with accountability!

LOL! Gotta get back on that horse! Life is good after a crossfit workout

Not a weird question, and you are very brave. Gurl! I don't think I have the stones to do what you did. But you did it, which makes you a much stronger person than me! I am thinking about 140? Am I right?! >_<

I shudder sometimes when I see my weight go up and I know I didn't overeat AND i worked out like a crazy fool the day before my weigh-in. *sigh* sometimes it's so frustrating.... but taking an average over a week is a good idea. That way you can account for water retention (if there is such a thing), your period, and any…

Keep up the good work!

1) Crossfit Box, three to four days a week {Anyone interested in chatting about how they like crossfit?} 2) Orangetheory, once to twice a week 3) Traditional gym with classes, pool, weights and aerobic equipment; sporadically during the warmer months

Great job! You're an inspiration!

I do orangetheory too! Sometimes I don't get that many splat points, as i think my heart rate is naturally very low, and my recovery time is short. How many splat points do you usually average? I think my highest was 14, but my lowest has been around 2

Keep going! Don't give up. Anything worth doing is going to take time. It takes a bit to build up your lung strength. I personally "sing" (or lip sync) during my run. Why don't you find a really jammin' tune and try a slow "trot" during it? That way you have a goal of finishing in whatever time the song lasts for. Good…

GUURLLL: it's sad and depressing what happens to us as we get old. I'm 47, 48 in July. My body changed at 36 and then again @ 46 ☹️. But I keep fighting because I'm not my mother's 47. There is no way she could squat heavy, climb up a rope, do a MURPH workout, do a Spartan Beast obstacle course race, etc. Our generation…

YES: running is at least 90% mental. I sing to my favorite songs while running, or run through a to-do list, or count backwards. Whatever it takes to keep my mind occupied. Good luck!

Did it this morning: 44:45, we did 1 mile + 100 pull ups (I did ring rows) + 200 push ups + 300 squats + 1 mile. It was amazing and exhausting.

Hello, I can sympathize. We have this vision in our mind, and somehow it doesn't come out looking like the pictures in the advertisement or in magazines. I know that 80% of my problem is diet. I am good most days but I do eat out quite a bit for work and it can be hard on a restrictive diet. My workout regime is excellent…
