How about split the difference and go to 1650 for a few weeks to a month- see if that shifts you and can avert the hangries.

Also- there's a big range of normal lab results, so if you're still feeling bad still, revisit w/ your doc.

Yep, agree w/ above. I've been hypo all my adult life. Overweight when I eat too much, back to normal when I eat less. If you have issues with water retention, maybe you can reduce your sodium. That helps me.

Maybe you can have this heart to heart chat directly with him, when you're both calm and rested :) Give him a couple of specific things you'd like him to do or say and give him the opportunity to change it- maybe he will prove you wrong if you are sincere about what you want or need.

I personally think it's a myth that it depends on how much you have left. I know tons of people that have lost 1 or 2/week right up till goal, with counting cals and exercise. Today/ this week it's: grapefruit!! I've gotten some sweet and juicy ones lately. And what the heck is a cherimoya?!? Gonna hunt for that- how do I not know about this?

Fruit! Juicy fruits are better to me (citrus, melons, apples).

I cut out things I have trouble eating in moderation. So if there are foods like that for you, it may be easier to eliminate. For different people that varies a lot. Look at your own patterns and learn and adapt. Good luck!

I second the public library! I've heard good things about Leslie Sansone too but not tried her yet. But I'm a regular walker and have lost over 50 with just walking. I prefer neighborhood walks but find what you like!

I just eat a little lighter (increase raw vegs and fruit, if those are allowable w/IBS), limit sodium, go for some long walks and yes to the water!
