I'm on track too - just counting runs. I only signed up for 350 miles but am aiming for 500 now, injury permitting
-
I'm at almost a year too - started C25K last March (and restarted twice after Achilles injuries) and am sometimes in that magical 'I could just keep going' space. Still often in the When Will This Be Over camp as well though...

Fantastic - you look great!

Briana is looking into it. She asked for @seestephierun's last name to find her, which I don't know. Will wait and see if it can be done without that - we're in different time zones - will update when I know more. We're getting there @kit_katty!
-
Apparently the team captain can transfer their role, that doesn’t really help us though
-
Didn't manage to message rty, but did work out that you can message other team members - have sent one to Stephie in case she's reading over there but not here
-
@adampeart what do you think?
-
I agree - it’s a shame there’s no way to send a message on RTY either

I’ve been laid up with flu most of last week - here’s to a healthier & injury-free February
-
@kit_katty what user name have you signed up with on RTY? @seestephierun as team captain you have the power to add her 🙂
-
Sounds good to me!

I’m on target - maybe even a little ahead as long as I don’t mess up my Achilles. I only had a small target though, so will try to exceed it

I think I've got all the teams apart from team Bad@ss - I assume this is not how you're registered @eleanorhawkins? Do I need to search for you as an individual under the same name? This is my first time on this challenge so sorry for all the questions...

@adampeart and @seestephierun - any preferences for team names? Not Fast Just Furious at least half describes me 😏

Hi everyone 👋 I'm very late to the party I realise; I only just found this group after looking for a more active community than the C25K one. Here's my December so far, though it's nothing like as good as everyone else's! 1: strength training 2: rest day 3: 5k run 4: strength training 5: 2.5k run 6. Strength training 7. 5k…

I'm pretty new to running, I'll sign up for 300 miles

Hi, I'm Diane and fairly new to running. I completed C25K with my other half this year and run 2-3 times a week for half an hour or so, including a Parkrun most Saturdays. I'm hoping to just maintain the fitness over winter, then go for a 10k trainer in spring when it gets less wretched outside. I'm 51 and live in North…

Did you do the supply runs @eleanorhawkins? I guess I’ll see how often I use it, but I’m liking it so far. I know there’s a week to wait after my 4 free episodes are done, but when does that week start counting down? Only after completing #4?
-
We're doing good - I was full of cold last week so only got one (4K) run in on Saturday. It's my other half's turn for the illness this week so am running solo this week - just did a 25m run (with an actual hill no less - have been avoiding those 🙂) which was 3.4k. I'm still not very fast but have done 4 5k runs so far and…

I do Bodyweight strength training 2-3 days a week plus lots of walking - I walk to work and back, and for shopping etc. Nothing high impact as my tendons already hate me 😆
-
Welcome! Mfp is a great tool to use - make sure you check the accuracy of the food database when you use it - there are some wacky entries in there!
-
Graduated today at 8.15pm - ran 5K in 44 minutes 😁 now to work on being a bit faster without feeling like I'm going to collapse in a wheezing puddle on the pavement
-
We did it! Too hot to run yesterday, but did it after work this evening - took 44m so not very fast but still very pleased 😁
-
W8D3 done - 30m running. I'm very slow, and it still feels bloody hard! Will attempt the 40m 5K on Monday - just have to see how far I can get before collapsing in the allotted time 🙂
-
Keep at it! No harm in repeating days, or even weeks if it works for you
