I have to give a shoutout to IF aswell. Lately I haven't been feeling like eating in the evenings at all, so I've sort of eased my way into it a little. The only real difference I had to make was delaying my breakfast a little bit. So between noon and 8pm I eat whatever I feel like basically. I don't binge or anything, but…

That is crazy levels indeed. I'm a huge fan of smoked/salted meat, and these last days I found a ham that's delicious but 250 grams of it has like 3k mg of sodium.. I didn't realize it made you retain that much water.. That would explain the bloat aswell. Also, agreed on the peanut butter and spaghetti. I had at least…

Yeah awesome progression! I am at around the same starting place actually (little over 1 month in with 7 kgs lost), so very motivating to see you succeed! If you haven't lifted before I definitely recommend setting up a program with a personal trainer. Most gyms give a complimentary training session once you start to kind…

Yeah same here. Doesn't show a lot of difference for me yet either. Still at the first 8kgs lost.. But I can feel my once tight jacket getting looser, which is nice!
-
@nutmegoreo Yeah that makes sense. Thanks. I was fairly active in the gym to be honest so you're probably right in that it's an impatience thing. I want consistent loss. I found I was overdoing it a little when I was going every other day though so now I'm going like every 3 days to the gym, unless I'm out golfing then…

@nutmegoreo I am fairly big still. I'm 188cm tall and at 140kg at the moment and looking to lose 50 more. I have done around 2k calories for almost a week now though because I experienced a stagnation for a week when I did 2500 + more the days of exercise, so I cut a little more just to be on the safe side of the equation,…

Ah okay great, I kinda thought as much but it's always nice to get help from the experts. :) Thanks!!

I used to be one of those with aversions to gay people, turns out I am bisexual and it just took me 30 years to realize it. :p

Banana + peanut butter. Easy and accessible and very tasty.
-
Congratulations on the amazing progress! 5kgs per month seems to be an all round good number for weight loss when combined with muscle building aswell. Not too strenuous on the body and room made for a few cheat days. :)

Lost it at the gallon of lemon juice..

This is exactly what happened to me. I've been on and off the bandwagon for a long time and suddenly the pin dropped. I've been overweight for 10 years now, but it's only in the last year where I have taken any steps towards any sort of exercise, and the last 6 months I have been on and off in the gym but never really…

I'm in! 1 kilo lost already in december so should be easy!
-
So december starting weight as weighed on the 28th was 141 kilos. Filling in the rest above. :)

Ah sweet (no pun intended), good to know!

Not sure I agree with the whole sugar is sugar thing though. I'm not saying I'm right here, but it seems to me at least that the process in which they make the white crystalized sugar vs for example what's in an apple/orange/banana would be different, and thus would take different energy levels for the body to process, and…

To be fair I had withdrawal when I first cut processed sugar from my diet aswell. A friend of mine put it perfectly (I'll see if I can not lose it in translation).. She said the body will try to replenish what it's running out of and so no sugar = bad, and so chocolate, bbq sauce, etc would show up as cravings. Now I have…

Man.. And here I thought it was going to be attack kittens. I currently lost 1/10th of my goal so feel free to add me.

If I had exercised that day I usually have something along the lines of peanut butter + banana. Or as @kylesbacon said sugar free mint really does work wonders. That + water and I can go to bed. It's a little strange how cravings usually hit me at night when I'm in a more rested state, doesn't seem to be related to…

That is so old it's cool again, a hipster scale! Does it do grams?

I'm still on my first 5 kgs lost, but being a huge foodie I'd be lying if I said these thoughts didn't enter my mind. The challenge for me has been to make the food adequately tasty to be able to pass my critical taste buds as delicious. What I've really gotten into are these one pot wonders. Just chuck mince into a frying…

The big turnaround for me was that I realized I spent just as much energy and money on bad nutrition that didn't even make me satisfied in the end. My diet used to consist of semi-prepared meats and carbs and sauces, but once I saw the ridiculous amounts of calories that means. I'm not a vegetarian at all but I find with…

I don't have a single friend here yet, but this sounds like a good place to start. Anyone in this thread feel free to add me aswell. :)

@VintageFeline both of those sound pretty awesome. I was originally thinking about the more strength training supportive shakes, but what the hell. :) @rainbowbow Yeah that sounds nice. I've been really enjoying my yoghurt with vanilla whey lately aswell. Perfect late night snack. It's about time it makes it into a shake!…

I live in scandinavia so I buy from gymgrossisten.no. It is the cheapest alternative where I live and so far the tastiest I tried. It's whey based and I think that's the best alternative in terms of blending. I will have to try it with yoghurt and have that for breakfast instead of my usual eggs before going to the gym at…

Yeah I always loved vanilla. The last time I used protein powder it was a little too plasticy in flavour but the industry really worked out their flavours over the last decade and now it's tasting just amazing. I also always loved bananas and that coupled with vanilla is really just a winning combo for me. It's basically a…

Haha, you're speaking my language! For just pure indulgence I would keep it at the peanut butter, oooohh or maybe some mango aswell!
-
That sounds absolutely delicious! I haven't cooked with butternut squash yet. Question though, won't the pears turn to mush compared to the other veggies?

I read this in december 2016, was like WTF? But so far I lost 8 in november alone so 10 pounds a month I can do!
