And now I will be having Skyline for dinner tonight!

I know I shouldn't but usually the urge to say something is too great and I end up getting sucked in :s

Pretty sure it's not bad advice that keeps people obese.
-
I don't think the majority of people want you to be fat. I'm guessing most people are just used to people at larger sizes so when someone starts losing it genuinely looks unhealthy to them because so many people are so overweight.
-
I think there's a big difference between not knowing you were gaining weight and being in denial about the weight gain. Quit focusing on the coulda, woulda, shoulda, and look towards the healthier future!

Are you with her all day everyday to know for sure she wears her fitbit all day everyday? I know tons of people who charge them and forget to put them back on until hours later.

Then they're either calculating calories in incorrectly or calories out incorrectly.
-
That's really good! I hope it works out for you!

Good luck to you, fluoxetine made me feel hungry ALL the time, even after eating! I've come off that (I did gain 40 lbs, not the medications fault, my own for not being able to say no) and I'm now on buspirone and I've lost 20 lbs in the last few months. Much, much happier.

Getting older and wanting to stay active and healthy. Also, I'm vain :p

Oh good, I'm not alone! I tried reading the first book after my aunt raved about it a few years back. I think I started it about 6 times before I finally gave up :#

You are nuts, you're gorgeous! And your boyfriend is going to get super tired of that talk real quick- men like confidence! And yes, I have confidence in my body! Luckily I've always been pretty confident about who I am and what I look like. Right now I am not the happiest with my weight but I work on things daily, I'm…
-
I did not. I weigh everyday and use an app to track my weight so daily fluctuations don't bother me at all.
-
Ohhh wow, when you put it that way that's 2 hours of "screen time" per day for me as I listen to my podcasts on breaks, on lunch, in my car, and on my runs!

WOO HOO HELLOOOO DIRTY 30!! Yay!! :p :* Just start off slow and get used to going again! Your motivation can be that your 30s are the new 20s!! (Or so I've been told!) I just turned 31 and 30 was pretty *kitten* awesome and that has motivated me more than ever to keep myself healthy and fit as I've heard it just gets…

No, dry shampoo is the greatest. I wash my hair every 2 to 3 days.

I eat breakfast but not until 4-5 hours after I'm awake. I'm up at 5, at work by 7, and usually have greek yogurt and a hard boiled egg anywhere between 9 am and 10 am.
-
Me too! I've found that if I eat late or close to before I go to bed I wake up super hungry the next day!
-
I have the blaze and I've found it to be very accurate.
-
Wait, what do you teach?
-
To each their own, whatever I guess, but this just sounds miserable.

I have a desk job but I walk in my morning break, lunch, and afternoon break. I then hit the gym. I have a standing desk at work so I don't move too much but I'm on my feet. I average about 16k-20k steps a day with work and the gym.

To be fair since it was started in a public thread it should be finished here as well since there are TONS of lurckers (hello, me :) ) who read everything in these forums.

This is false. Just because you were raised with the knowledge and information regarding health, weight, and nutrition doesn't mean it makes it an easier for you than anyone else. Someone who doesn't have the bad habits in childhood could very easily go on to have them once they are on their own. I have all the temptations…

Wow really?! I honestly thought this was an urban legend!

Old navy is the only place I buy workout clothes from. Cute, comfy, and durable!

If you're weighing a several times in a row and getting different weight amounts your batteries may be dying. If you're weighing several times throughout the day and getting different weight then that's typical.

I LOVE iceburg with my spinach or kale, I have to have the crunch!

I think she's pointing out that we (taxpayers) already pay for others healthcare costs? And then those people don't file taxes so they're not paying into the system. Not sure though but that's how I read the post. ETA: I'm wrong a lot so apologizes in advance.

I've had the Fitbit HR charge in the past and now I have the Blaze and what I love about it is the heart rate monitor and how it tracks my sleep.
