Currently 213 so next goal is 210 (15 stone), then 205, then 203 (14 and a half stone) then 200… No set deadline.

I was brushing my hair wearing a vest top and noticed I could see my collarbone…welcome back!

Being healthy and happy again.

I'm wearing jeans and a shirt that wouldnt have buttoned and fitted nicely not so long ago. I look good and I feel good.

I love the 1950s look but at a UK size 20 I don’t feel comfortable wearing it and people looking at me. In two years I want to be on holiday in Cuba, feeling fabulous, floating into Havana in a Cadillac. 😊

I'm terrible at returning clothes especially cheap stuff bought off ebay etc so I've a few things in my wardrobe that I bought optimistically that are starting to fit now.

I love this thread and everyone's journey. I'm at 218.2 today so my first set of mini goals are: 1: hit 217 or 15 and a half stone 2. hit 215 because 5s are a nice number! 3. hit 210 because 0s are good too plus that's the 15 stone marker 4. likewise 205 5. hit 203 for 14 and a half stone 5. and 200....I'd love to get…

I'm getting closer to 210, I'd love to get there by the end of this month from today's 213.6 but it's no big deal if it doesn't happen. 210 is 15 stone, it's a good marker!

I walked 20,000 steps yesterday. Admittedly I can hardly move today but I got through day 2 of couchto5k so proud of that!

I'm about a third of the way on my weight loss journey and I've just realised I'm starting to feel good about myself. So much happier, enjoying find old clothes that fit, window shopping online at cute outfits and not hating the idea of showing my body off. I've still got a huge way to go to my 100 pound target loss but…

Almost two years ago I bought some new smart work wear, fitted shirts and dresses etc. Most of it fitted great apart from these 2 shirts and I’m crap at returning internet bought clothes. These 2 shirts now fit great!

I didn't have a big "aha" moment, it just kind of started happening from New Year. I quit booze by accident, one day just rolled in to another and I stopped wanting a glass of wine at the end of the day and started taking the anti depressants the doctor had prescribed me regularly. I'm nearly 30 pounds down from the…

Lo Dough....you might as well put polystyrene in the oven with your pizza toppings on.

I quit alcohol on 1st January this year by accident....didn't really mean to stop drinking but one day rolled in to another and now I'm 99 days alcohol free. We ran out of Diet Coke about 10 days ago and when I did the shop yesterday I didn't buy more, I got diet 7Up and Diet Fanta instead....I still want a cold fizzy…

Thank you for your words of encouragement. Husband and his pneumonia are not very well and he’s sleeping in the spare room to try stop me catching it, I miss hugs! Got through a huuuge work day today, wtom arrived, ate my exercise calories totally back for the first time this year, scraped and to be honest I don’t…

I am exhausted, totally broken. My husband woke me at 5am and said the doctors have told him to go to hospital because he had flu like symptoms and chest pains. Long story short he’s got pneumonia but back home and filling himself up with drugs. I’m so far behind with my work and deadlines for this weekend plus worried…

I hadnt gotten round to washing my swimming costume after the other day (bad me!) so had to go wardrobe raiding. I have a swimming costume that’s a size down and in a bra band size smaller than I think I am. It still had tags on. It fit and it was supportive with the built in bra bit so it’s my new best costume!

Hi, I’m on a 5 pound a month goal and keep getting steps in plus swimming at least three times a week. SW 250.6 1st January 2020 CW 227.4 29th February 2020

Did my end of month weigh in and 8.2 pounds down in February which I’m so happy with! My goal is 5 pounds a month. Definitely joining March, thank you for all the support, I drop a lot of hugs, likes and inspireds but don’t tend to comment too much.

So I ended January on 236 and I'm currently at 228.8, I didn't think I'd made much progress this month, seems I'm wrong on that. I set foot in the gym today, I didn't really like it...dehydrated, didn't feel great, couldn't manage even a couple of runs on day 1 of couch to 5k so I went to the pool and swam instead. I feel…

Morning all, I have a plan. I'm noticing my weight loss is still happening after a mega loss in January but it's levelling off a bit and when I stand on the scales and they go down I'm happier and when they go up I'm a bit deflated. Sooooo I'm thinking in March I keep logging, I keep exercising but I hide the scales away…

I’m a weigh every day too but count Wednesday as my official weigh in day. I went swimming today for the first time in at least two years, my legs ache so much now! What a calorie burn though :)
-
It's Weigh In Wednesday so here are the scores on the doors; SW 250.6 1st January 2020 CW 229.8 19th February 2020 ....I was really wanting to get under 229.6 and that's a stone and a half this side of the pond but still happily ticking along and delighted to be under 230. It has been slower going this month, not eating as…

There’s so much to catch up on every time I dip in here! It’s great following everyone’s journey, we all have our ups and downs and it’s great being part of such a supportive community. I’ve been mulling over BrownSugar’s question about loving yourself. I don’t think I do, I’m not sure I ever have. I wasn’t an overweight…

@lbostic89 thank you for this, I keep hoping a doctor or someone will have a stern word with the parents! She has type 1 diabetes on her father's side of the family and I believe her maternal grandfather was type 2. I'm type 1, she's seen what diabetes is like to live with. Anyway, enough of that. On with the day. I'm…

My bra straps kept falling off my shoulders yesterday, I think it may mean some shrinkage in the boobage and shoulder area!

@mmdeveau that bit about your father having words resonates so much with me. My step daughter is 11 and about 160 pounds, it’s starting to register with her that she’s overweight. Her mother is big, I am too, her father could lose a couple of pounds but he’s not massive. Her parents seem so wary of upsetting her that…

So this week my beloved godmother is coming to stay over and we are going out for dinner tomorrow night. I’ve stopped drinking so don’t need to worry about booze but I want to make good menu choices. We’ve eaten at this pub before and I know the food is great! Going with skipping the starter and probably chicken for…

Wow, it got busy in here! I'm a bit off track but still logging at the moment.

I’m now 35 days alcohol free which my app just told me is my longest streak. Honestly not missing it.
