Almost everything I eat is some sort of carb, but it's usually a high fiber carb. I'm on a WFPB diet which is pretty much a vegan diet minus the vegan junk food. I've been able to stabilize my blood sugar levels (usually between 80-120 and between 110-140 1-2 hours after I eat a meal) I've gotten rid of all of my diabetic…

Pretty much everything I eat is a carb of some sort. I follow a WFPB diet which is pretty much a vegan diet with very limited processed foods. With that said, my diet is also really high in fiber. Carbs can vary between 50-70% depending on the day. My daily readings are pretty normal. (79-130) depending on the time of day.

I don't eat any meat or dairy and keep processed "vegan" foods to a minimum (maybe twice a month or so) such as store bought fake meats and veggie burger types if frozen foods. I've also cut my oil consumption to a minimum-I've totally stopped cooking with it. Most of my breakfasts are rolled oat bars that I make myself.…

Almost everything I eat is a carb to some degree. I don't consume any animal products (meat or dairy of any kind) and keep my processed foods and oils to a minimum (that includes vegan junk foods.) since the diet switch, my numbers have been steadily been returning to "normal."

8months since the initial diagnosis. I'm totally off of glimepride and take metformin (500mg) 2x per day with food. A1C 5.8 and daily readings hover in the 80s - 90s. My cholesterol is "normal" and I've actually cut my high blood pressure in half from 10mg to 5 of lisinopril. Working out 3/5 times a week and a plant based…

500mg for now. Seems to be working fine. I think my diet and activity helps a lot. I work out 3-4x a week and pretty much a whole food/plant based diet with the occasional cream in my morning coffee. I try to stay away from all processed foods as much as possible. I'm curious to see a new set of labs.

This morning..46 The last five weeks I've had about 26% of my readings be too low. I told my Dr and he took me off of one of my meds. Yay! So, within the last 5 months, I've cut my meds 2x per day to 1x per day to now just 1 med a day. Moving in the right direction! Woohooo.
