  • Awesome ideas! Thank you all. Friday used to be wine and pizza night and honestly pizza would have fit my macros but decided I wanted something a little more nutrient dense. I appreciate all of the responses
  • I'm Megan and I love food and medical research and being barefoot outside.
  • Bring some mandarins or something and leave them on his desk!
  • I dropped out of nursing school to study dietetics because I realized I wanted to work in disease prevention instead of disease maintenance and there are sooo many scholarship opportunities for it. I'm going to be graduating completely debt free. Where I live there are really low paying jobs for RD but you can also make…
  • Girl I been going to the gym for years and I have the same fear EVEERRRRYY single day, but when I get there and start moving it's easy and I don't care anymore. I'm so focused on my workout, and the burn, and performing at my best that I don't even notice or care if other people are watching me. It helps to go in with a…

  • So glad I read this I was about to buy some. It's so hard finding a good vegan protein powder. I'm on my third different brand, and it's not bad at all, but it's definitely NOT enjoyable in coffee or plain almond milk, has to be put in a smoothie. I love plain hemp powder but I just read the studies on failing drug tests…

  • I do meal prep, but I work in the medical field and on those nights have to have finger foods I can keep in my pocket and take bites between patients. It's not ideal, but it's only once a week! Where do you buy the scimx bars? Do you know if they dairy free? Sadly I have a dairy protein allergy
  • I usually budget $100/person/month. We are doing $200 a month for the two of us right now, in a fairly expensive city. My biggest tips are stocking up on frozen fruits and vegetables when on sale or buy cheap fresh and freezing on your own for when produce is really expensive. I just learned avocados freeze really well!…
  • With a plant based I rarely have issues, but when I was pregnant I put a tablespoon of coconut oil in a cup of black coffee or green tea. Works within the hour.
  • Never mind I should have looked further down, got my answer!
  • I have been nursing my daughter for 15 months now (she still eats every 2 hours), and have struggled with supply the entire time. I've been losing weight consistently since November and actually notice an increase in supply with the increase in water and rich nutrients I'm taking in. Pumping or feeding on a schedule is…

  • I do lots of soups, pastas etc in a thermos. Put the sink on as hot as it will go and let the hot water sit in the thermos for 10 mins while you heat up the food then put the food in the thermos. I find it's still hot enough I have to let it cool sometimes by lunch, about 5 hours. I just bought a cheap thermos at TJ Maxx.…

Chickpea Salad- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed 2 tablespoon olive oil mayo or vegan mayo 1/3 cup shredded carrots 1/2 chopped cucumber 1/2 stalks…
  • I love food! And cooking! And making healthier, more nutrient dense versions of my favorite junk foods. I don't eat meat or dairy, so I'm also experimenting with different versions of foods I used to eat that contain these items. If you want recipes for any of these let me know! Top to bottom: Copycat Qdoba Loaded Tortilla…
