I am 56 years old and started Wegovy in February and will take my 3rd dose of the 1.0 tonight. This does has not done much for me like the .5 did. However, I am 16 lbs down. Would love to have accountability partners! SW: 253 CW: 237 GW: 150

I am on my 6th day on Saxenda. I have not felt any change, actually I feel hungrier. I hope this changes when I up the dose to 1.2. Good luck!

Increasing your water intake will definitely help but you should also increase your calories. Trust me, I just lost a lot of weight very quickly on 800 calories for two months and then it stopped and even gained some (eating clean too). I have increased to almost 1200 calories and it is coming off again.

Half my body weight which right now means 110 oz a day. If I don't drink my water each day, I retain very easily.

Chick-Fil-A sauces are very high in calories for such a little packet!

All these other posts are correct. I have lost 37 pounds since April 10 due to a very low calories diet (800 calories) prescribed my doctor (started at 258). I have noticed that instead of my workouts getting easier, they are getting harder. My trainer has said it is because of the loss of lean muscle due to the lack of…

Please add me too! 100 to lose and am down 36 so far.

It is a mental thing and I am going through it too. Eight weeks ago my doctor started me on a VLCD (very low calorie diet) of 800 calories. I am supposed to be going up to 1200 but I am struggling because of the fear of eating too much. This isn't a good way to live so we need to find a way to get through this mental wall.…

Breast feeding promotes weight loss naturally as your body burns a lot of calories to make milk.
-
I am similar.Started at 258 and 8 weeks later I am at 224 but it is slowing down. Also under a doctors care.

I am on phentermine but don't feel anything from it. I am losing weight anyway so I am stopping it. What I do think is helping is metformin which I am on to get my sugar back in range (pre-diabetic).

My doctor said it didn't matter either way so I wanted to check with others who have tried losing weight during the summer to see if they retained more in the summer.

If it seems overwhelming, start with small changes. Increase your water intake (100 oz a day has helped me a lot), stock up on high protein foods, eliminate one major carb food a week, etc. Also, see your doctor. Mine had me get blood work done and determined that higher fat/lower carb would be best for me. I am finishing…

The USDA says 56 almonds have 392 calories.

Drink lots of water!

Social eating. If I am at an event with scrumptious food, I have what I want but in very limited quantities. I try to fill up on veggies first though. This has been the hardest part of losing weight...the social eating aspect.

It may be what you are eating. Try cutting out most carbs and concentrate on protein. Also, drink a lot of water (like half your body weight). Make sure you are taking a multi vitamin since your calorie deficit is significant. I am currently consuming 800-1000 calories a day except on weekends when I eat a little more. I…

BMI 36, losing about 4lbs per week right now. 33 lbs down in 8 weeks

I am on a calorie restricted diet through my doctor. I keep my calorie intake under a 1000 a day but allow myself a little more on the weekends. I have lost 32 pounds in 7 weeks. To make sure I keep it off, once I get to my half way goal, I will start increasing my calories so that I am at 1500-1800 a day to maintain.

I have been on Metformin for about 5 weeks and recently started Phentermine. I have lost abut 30 lbs in 7 weeks but I don't think the Phentermine is helping as I always feel hungry. I am really concerned that as soon as I stop these mess, I will gain again.

It sounds like water retention. Up your water intake for a few days and see what happens.
-
I drink half my body weight a day (about 115oz). On days I don't drink that much, I don't lose and sometimes gain!
-
27 down, 70 to go!
-
I gained 4lbs last weekend also! I definitely went rogue for a couple of days and did not drink my water but on Monday was back on track, drank my water and by Thursday was down the 4lbs.
-
Try increasing your water intake. I drink 100 oz a day and on the days I don't, the scale shows it!
-
Considering I am eating my doctors products and only her products, her advice is to eat less. Can I really sustain on less than 800 calories a day?
-
Try drinking more water. I drink 100 oz a day.

Salted Carmel is the only one I have tried. Cannot wait to try more!!!

I am with you on not liking a lot of beans and vegetables but I am forcing myself to get use to some of the veggies. I have learned to like spaghetti squash and put on a little butter and Parmesan cheese or greens beans sauteed in sesame oil with almonds. Not my favorite but the little bit of added fats helped. You will…

Since you don't have much to lose, it may be the type of calories you are eating. Drink a lot of water (half your body weight), eat mostly protein and minimize carbs/sugar. A lot easier said than done! I just started my 100lb weight loss journey and this is what my doctor has me on. I have lost 7 lbs in 3 days, mostly from…
