How many ounces should we have? Can I count coffee?

You can count coffee. Drink when you are thirsty. If you urine looks dark try to drink some extra. If you are a paler yellow you should be good to go.1

There's no set amount. Drink enough to stay hydrated.0

I try for 72oz just because I like routine and factoids, in the winter I count herb tea.0

No need to torture yourself all day with fluids. Drink enough so your urine is clear. Other beverages count toward you overall fluid intake, as do fruits and vegetables. Ever eaten a lot of watermelon? I have and it hits me like I've had 16 ounces of water!0

I shoot for half my weight in ounces. so... around 75 ounces of water. I do better in anything if I have a goal. I don't drink just to drink but work on staying hydrated. If I hit my goal, all the better. Each day will be different depending on your activity level and the days' weather.

Half my body weight which right now means 110 oz a day. If I don't drink my water each day, I retain very easily.

I tend to eat less when I am better hydrated.0

I aim for 3/4 of my water intake to come from actual water. I find my skin looks a lot better with that kind of intake. It may be coincidence, but I'm not willing to rock the boat to find out! I like water anyway.0
