I have been using an app called BookBuddy to keep track of my physical books as I kept buying books I had read years ago. I'd get about 20 pages in and realize I had already read the book. I was able to scan the barcodes and import all the information in. The Goodreads account can be a backup and will also help with all my…

Log everything and stay consistent. If you have a bad day, move on a get back to it the next day. Don't let it snowball in to weeks! Your weight will fluctuate and it is normal, just keep an eye on the trend. Drink plenty of water and try to add more activity to your day. I'm by no means an expert but this has worked for…

I have IBS and have found that carbs are not the problem, it is the type of carb. Grains, especially highly refined bread products set it off. I'm good with small amounts of rice and starchy foods like potatoes don't bother me at all. I also found certain oils cause it to flare up so I stay with Olive oil, butter or…

I have IBS and it has become very controlled with diet. I don't exactly do KETO but a form of Paleo that works out to be low carb. I find the biggest irritants to my IBS are processed grains and certain types of oils. I can tolerate small amounts of rice and legumes but find I fell better if I mostly avoid them.

You can do it! Start by logging everything you eat and see how many calories you are taking in. Once you know that, you can find small ways to decrease the amount and you will be on your way to losing weight. Throw in some extra walking when you can to help even further. Start slow and build up as you start to see a little…

Butterfly the chicken and put half a jalepeno stuffed with creamcheese in it. season both side with a grilling rub and roll the chicken back up. Tie it together or use toothpicks. Grill the stuffed chicken breast. I like to wrap with bacon first.

With bad knees the extra weight makes it hard to exercise. I'm just now getting to the point where going for long walks or hitting the gym doesn't hurt. If exercise is causing knee pain, focus on your diet and try it again after 10-20 pounds lighter.

Chicken breasts, a jar of good salsa and a packet of taco seasoning. Cook on high for 15 minutes and let the pressure release naturally. Add cheese, cilantro, onions, etc as toppings and eat as a taco or shell free as I do.

Try slicing the chicken into thin slices or small chunks. You can then microwave it for 45 seconds and it will be warm but not dried out.

I was diagnosed with IBS back when they still called it spastic colon. I suffered through it for years but in the last couple of years have figured out what works for me. I eat very little grains and try to stay completely away from highly refined carbs. I've also discovered that certain types of oils will set it off. I'm…
