How about a group of power lifters sitting around waiting while a group of women tie up a power rack doing squats with two 10 Lb weights on the bar? I maintain that this equipment was never intended to be used to do squats with 20 Lbs.

Welcome heavenandhell, concentrate on consistency and not intensity. Resist listening to the fitness gurus, quack personal trainers, supplement salesmen and fad dieters. Never worry how you look in the gym or how you're dressed because everyone else is so focused on themselves they notice little to nothing else.

I ride nearly every day, the weather & tropical insects permitting, with no set goals other than to enjoy being outside. The distances I cover range from 30 to 100+ Km. I will probably not ride tomorrow as we expect to see the heat of the day reach 38⁰ C.

EM2WL sounds like being told to lean into a left hook. Good for you in deciding to include eggs & fish in your diet. I have had good results by eating 3 balanced vegetarian meals a day and adopting a program of consistent exercise. Pay close attention to your protein requirements because meeting them can be challenging.
