Going on 7 months dry and ever since I quit cold turkey, I just feel overall better with myself. Now I can’t stand the smell of it and I find it quite repulsive.

Geez, I think I’m the shortest one here 😂. Female, 5’1”, 157 lbs, I hit the weights 3x a week, Spin class 2x and then the remaining days I do calisthenics/cardio. Currently cutting at 1700 cals which seems to be working at the moment. I was recomping for a long time and decided it was time to change it up.

Agreed, but if you wanted to take it up a notch and start tracking your macros, then I think it's worth it.

Hi! 👋🏻 My diary is open too, but not doing keto or yoga (although I’m contemplating on giving it a try), but I do like to lift heavy *kitten* weights and intense cardio sessions. 😁

I was, when I fell off the wagon for first time. Now I’ve stuck to the promise I made myself and I’m glad to say I’m going strong for nearly one year solid. I want to end this year with a bang before I turn 30 in April. 💪🏻

Did someone say Fit friends? 😁 I’ve been on this journey for almost a year now, was in recomp mode but recently decided to up my game, and do a cut (then will bulk later on).

This is exactly what I plan on doing soon; planning on ending my recomp and doing a cut while maintaining my lifts. I'm interested in seeing what others have to say here as well. 😊

I think it has to do with him thinking of himself as a failure, which I wholeheartedly don’t think of him as that. I know he’s going through a pretty stressful period with work and such, but I’m hoping that this is some phase that he’s in and that he’ll come to his senses.

The hardest part of this journey is having your significant other be jealous, not in a good way though. I’ve tried to help and encourage but to no avail. You can’t help someone if they can’t help themselves, right? Just not sure what to do at this point...

It definitely sucks doing it alone; I’ve gone solo for awhile too before setting up an awesome group of friends on here. There’s a lot of supportive people on here and some that are questionable.

I’ve just sent you a FR. I’m a mum of 2 youngsters but I don’t do boxing or yoga though, but I lift weights, intense cardio and sometimes some calisthenics here and there. 🤗 As the OP mentioned, MFP really does help to keep you accountable of your caloric intake.
