No period for me since 2017, so supposedly fully menopausal. However, hot flashes, night sweats and waking up angry at the world for no reason persist. I hope this changes soon. I'm 53, my mom said it all ended for her at 55, got my fingers crossed it's the same for me.

I think the body burns off fat in the reverse order it put it on, so the belly fat (where I first put it on) will be the last off. Just my feeling....not backed by science.

We don't keep junk food in the house, if I want a candy bar or cookies or ice cream or whatever I have to go out and buy 1 serving. A lot of time it's not worth the bother. Sometimes my husband and I go out for ice cream, so it's one serving, and not a half gallon of the stuff. Also saves space in the freezer.

I set an alarm on my phone to remind me when to take mine. Maybe take them in the morning, or evening before bed so you don't have to worry about forgetting them at home? ( Or pack them up the night before, kind of like laying out your clothes the night before, or packing a lunch)

Tell them "What I put in my mouth is my business, maybe you should pay more attention to what is going into your mouth" MYOB It's snarky, but nothing is more personal than the decisions you make about your body. I also have a problem with anyone making remarks about how you baby is or looks(unless it's the doctor)

Also rock my run is a good app (have to listen to an ad every 15 minutes or so if you don't want to pay for it). But it gives me good ideas for songs I then buy from apple to create my own playlists.
