I was walking with a limp until day 5! Soaking with some bath salts helped :)

I'm almost done week 1...just have the cardio session left. I really like that its something different everyday, I tend to get bored really easily. My favorite workout was the pilates.

Im not. If I don't see progress I might but at this point Im just filling my little containers and sweating my *kitten* off. I am ever so slightly nervous because their calculations have much eating a lot more calories then if I was just tracking on MFP, but we shall see!

Im wondering the same thing. It was pretty chilly today (around 40) and I was wearing these generic workout pants from REI and my tush was freezing by the time I was done!! They did somehow miraculously keep me relatively dry in the rain though.

I actually run during the day and not on the road. Im lucky to have lots of well lit running paths nearby. But I will invest in some lights just in case I decide I need to go on a night road run :)

Before you drive yourself crazy I would highly recommend seeing an endocrinologist. My PCP was handling my hypothyroidism for years before I finally saw an endocronologist and he deemed my level too high although it technically fell within "normal" range. Ever since my meds have been adjusted I've actually lost weight.…

Took up running and Im actually enjoying it. Bought size 14 jeans, I cant believe they fit!

To echo some previous posters, EAT! You're clearly losing weight so you have some room to play. Bump down your lbs per week weight loss goal, or eat back your exercise calories. In 5, 10, 15 years it isnt going to matter how quickly you lost the weight, all thats going to matter is that you were able to achieve a lifetstye…

Hi Ladies, I recently turned 35 and just prior to decided I needed to do something about my weight. Im in the no kids, due to fertility issues category. Ours is male factor but it still cant hurt for me to be in the best shape possible :) So yeah, I'd like to have one but I have a very full and fulfilling life without…

Best of luck!

I'm in! I've been looking for a September challenge!

[/quote] Personally I'd suggest establishing your real priorities and planning accordingly. Given the deadline of the 5K event then that rather constrains you to fixing C25K in your diary and working the KB plan around that. I've suggest a full day off training every week, and where you've got two competing sessions in a…
-
It's not the "official" C25K program, just one I found on Pinterest that I thought was manageable and fit within my 8 week deadline. This one accounts for everyday of the week with every other day being rest.

I completed my first 6/30. Lost 18lbs and got my eating under control. Definitely follow the guidelines for reintroducing foods, I learned just as much if not more during that process. I decided to continue to eat Paleo although I am not a huge stickler for no added sugar. I make 99% of my food from scratch so on the rare…

I got a Polar M600 a month ago and I LOVE it. Expensive but it has all the bells and whistles and then some. I love not having to log exercise or guess on calories burned.
-
I don't "log" exercise but my Polar watch adjusts my TDEE depending on that days activities. Sometimes I eat back calories and sometimes I dont. I listen to my body and what I need on any given day. Working so far :)

34lbs since 6/1

Down 2 pants sizes. Swinging 15lb kettlebell. Took up running without dying. My wedding rings fit again. Ive lost some, Ive gained some but I havent given up!
-
Congrats on losing so much in such a short amount of time! I've lost about 35lbs and I cant see it either but like you I keep trucking

I'm down 28lbs and Im just starting to see a difference. I felt a difference after about 20lbs lost. Clothes fit better and I felt better in general.
-
I eat back calories when Im hungry and dont when Im not. Listen to your body.
-
Weekly. I would just obsess waaaay too much if I weighed myself daily. I do think that once I hit my maintenance weight I might weigh in daily. Maybe.
-
I also have hypothyroidism and Im down 28lbs in 10 weeks with eating at a deficit and exercising my *kitten* off. First, make sure that your thyroid levels are right. Dont mess around with your GP, see an endocrinologist. Then eat well and move often.
