It's not that fruit is a no-no, it's the amount of fruit as it relates to sugar intake. If you are using the MFP and watching your sugar intake reflected on there you might find it helpful and sometimes surprising...!!! :p

Checking in to this thread so we can all keep each other motivated! Go work at home ladies!!! Having some fun meals with spaghetti squash (steamed) spinach, mushrooms, chicken, topped with pico de gallo! Seems like with my work at home schedule my biggest meal is at lunch...how about everyone else?!

Shame on me....Pacific NW native transplanted now....I microwave frozen salmon, or poach on stove....then flavor; keeping it light....spruce it up with spinach or kale, spaghetti squash, etc...

I swim 2-3x a week, and love balancing it out with other exercises. I am not fast, but definitely steady, spending all of the hour with laps. This is a great question! I love fruit, but discovered, thanks to the Fitness Pal program, that it was easy to go over my sugar limit for the day with a banana and an apple, with a couple of items that may have hidden sugars. Air popped popcorn; sometimes will add garlic (in the tube) and mix with as popping; Greek yogurt (Dannon light &fit); celery & peanut butter; 12 almonds and an apple; just a few of my favorite things! I am on a budget, so I don't buy protein bars etc...love em though lol!
