Been keeping this a secret for a while, but really want to tell someone. I shouldn't brag but....the other day I put together a puzzle in 1 day - and the box said 2 to 4 years.

Just over a year and roughly down 108lbs. Another 60lbs to go.

Was down 118bs then gained a few back when I took a break from working out and logging in food on MFP after 1 year of work. Back at it again and ideally will lose another 80 to get to where I want to be. KETO and CICO Starting weight 398 (before MFP) current weight 290 with a goal of somewhere between 210 and 220.

Total lost in a year is 100 lbs then gained 10 back - currently at 90lbs. Ideally will lose another 80 to get to where I want to be.

If I may comment - be yourself whatever that is. If you want to lose weight or tone up etc do it for you and your health. Doing it for someone else seems secondary to me - and honestly may be a good initial motivator but...down the road - just do it for yourself. Your belief in yourself will come through no matter who you…

Swimming is how I started my weight loss - to help with impacts to my joints. Could only do 5 minutes to start - now up to 30-45 min. Swim every day during the summer and fall as long as the water temp is tolerable. Doing other exercise and tracking calories but still swim. Cannot recommend it enough.

Good Morning - what great success stories and motivation. Thanks to everyone for sharing and keep up the good work. CW: 285lbs Lost 105lbs

Likewise - would like to join the group. Lost 100lbs from Aug 2018 to Jan 2019 then took a break and did maintenance but ready to go again to get the rest off. NEVER would have accomplished my first goal without the groups/community forums and tools on MFP. So ready to go again - and support is always a good thing whether…

Great work! Thanks for sharing.

Have heard many times going through my weight loss attempts - "set obtainable goals". Success breads more success so make goals that are reasonable - then celebrate when you make them. Log food everyday helps keep you accountable get your MFP friends to help with your accountability by opening up your food diary to them…

Nice job by everyone! Your posts always help with motivation.

workout complete - ready for the weekend.

I had the same thoughts when I started. Lost just over 100lbs in 10 months with the bulk of that coming off in the first 6 months. Took a break and have maintained for the last 4 months and now getting ramped up to take off the remaining 70lbs (+ or -). Not easy by any stretch but with a disciplined approach and some…

Always looking for ways to stay motivated or help others stay motivated. I am up M-F at the time either working out or headed into the office. Group text messaging sounds like a good idea. Add me as a friend or message if interested. Thanks

48 here - lifted off and on since high school. Started again in November of last year hit it hard until Feb then stopped again. Getting back into it....again - nothing like it, really enjoy lifting - just finding the time to get it done. The lifting really helped my weight loss on a program of monitoring calories…

Morning everyone - have been involved with KETO (and additional things) since July of 2018 and have lost just over 100lbs. Always looking for others doing KETO - always something to learn from each other and support. No way I could have gotten to where I am without MFP. HIGHLY encourage to look through the message boards…

Have lost 101 lbs since July 2018 with another 80 lbs to go.

Agree - local friends are always good.

I know this is an old quote, but thank you for the comment and support. Need more like this on MFP and face to face. Great example.

Thinking about purchasing a unit. How often do you measure? Assuming daily? mornings?
