I love the Vega brand! I do a frozen banana and cold brew coffee with the chocolate. Keeps me perfectly full for about 4 hours til lunch :) I was using Protein and Greens but recently bought the Essentials type. For only 10 more calories, it has much more micronutrients.

Protein powders with soy or whey give me gas and cramps (TMI I know). I now use Vega Protein and Greens. It's vegan and soy freee. 20g Protein and 2 servings of greens per scoop. I'd check the label, but I don't think it contains any of the foods you mentioned.

3 months for my first 15lb. Obviously slower than you hope. But losing is losing :)

Mon-fri I log everything and make sure I'm at a deficit. Sat and sun I log nothing. I still make nutritious choices and watch calories and exercise. But weekends are for living! Lol I've lost 15lbs in 3 months, so it's working for me. Life is balance.

Homemade chicken chili can really pack in a bunch of nutrients as well as high protein. Died beans, boneless/skinless chicken, and a broth of your choice. Easy and cheap ;)

I love Vega Protein and Greens, both chocolate and vanilla are great. They also have a mixed berrie one I haven't tried. Also it is a SOY FREE vegan protein! Soy just rips my tummy up :s

Here's an example that I make. Unsalted mixed nuts (no peanuts), banana chips and pretzels. This container is about 170cals . And everything came from a bulk bin so you can buy only what you need.

In moderation fruit is great! One serving with each meal (if you do the standard breakfast, lunch, dinner) is perfectly fine. Yes, there's a lot of sugar but the carbs and fiber tell your body how to digest it. Unlike just drinking juices and watching your blood sugar level go crazy!

I hate maple syrup, always have. I usually just eat them with some butter. But if I'm feeling crazy I love sliced banana with any nut butter. Or cooked apples with cinnamon/allspice/nutmeg, no added sugar necessary :)

I am surprised at how often certain foods are listed! Although I do only like cooked kale. And yes, quinoa can taste awful if it is not properly washed first. And I love vegan-no whey protein powder. The food I had to give up on trying was grapefruit.

Garlic Roasted Brussels Sprouts are super easy and hold well in a crock pot! Or even homemade chili in a crock pot

I don't believe in diets. As long as your calories are coming from nutritious whole foods and you are consuming less calories than you burn in a day, weight loss will happen.
