I'm on my 2nd year of maintenance, but I've been slacking since October 31, up 7 lbs since then as of December 30 (6 lbs over maintenance weight of 200), but 3 lbs of that is gone as of this morning. I want to get to 190 (I'm 6'6" at age 61) by springtime.

Wife and I each eat a 32-gram serving every day while losing a combined 240+ lbs. Our go to brand is Smuckers all natural, or Costco's Kirkland brand. They contain only peanuts and salt, as a good pb should.

Yesterday I had a coworker ask me when I was gonna stop losing weight, that sometimes I looked sick. Lost 86 pounds at one point (starting in July 2017 after heart surgery), currently down 83. Have maintained within a 5 pound range for over a year now. My wife has lost over 160 pounds in the same time.

I've been maintaining within a 5 lb range for a year now, and loving it! Last night went to Red Robin for first time in over 2 years, had a grilled chicken sandwich instead of burger, and side salad instead of bottomless fries. Still way too much sodium, but only up .6 lbs this morning. 😁

Yesterday at a seminar, I saw a guy from a company I used to work for a few years ago. "You've lost weight. On purpose, I hope?" I just smiled and filled him in on my heart surgery and my eat less, move more lifestyle changes.

My wife and I use scales every day, every meal at home. Nobody comments anymore. @staticsplit, wife's mother (she's 86) often sends food home with us that she bought and decided she didn't like or want. If we don't want it (usual case), our flock of chickens get it, so isn't wasted.

My wife had a hair appointment this morning, so I went with her and spent the entire time walking the parking lot. 27 minutes with temps in the 30's F. Once upon a time, I would've been "it's too *kitten* cold to walk, I'll sit inside where it's warm". 🤣

If someone is on a machine I need, I'll just move to a different machine until the first is freed up. My former trainer said there's no rule that requires a set order.

I also am a chocoholic, but with no children at home, and no trick-or-treaters venturing to my end of the road, Halloween is a non-issue. I have found that the MFP blog recipes are hit-or-miss, as in some that I tried just did not give acceptable results in taste, texture, or quality.

I've managed to make to New Year's Day only up 2.4 pounds over my goal weight, and 5.6 pounds over my lowest weight. Now to get back on track with my maintenance, back to the gym, back to eating better!

Chocolate (at least 72% cacao, 85% is better) is essential, right up there with coffee.

My department at work (all 4 of us) went out for lunch today to a really good Mexican restaurant nearby. I ate way too much, especially chips, salsa, guacamole and queso. I'm sure I was thought of as weird for taking walks during my breaks, cold & windy while bundled in my parka in Winter, or in the blazing sun in August. But now there's more of us loonies out there on break, and few people openly comment. 😁

The last two weeks I've had several work and off-site professional functions that had food. So far I've indulged a little, but logged everything reasonably possible, and have maintained within 2 pounds. So far, so good!

For tomato cages, I cut sections from a roll of concrete reinforcement wire, and bend into a tube about 2 ft in diameter, and 5 ft tall (6 ft tall if I can find that size wire). Professional exams for certifications are extremely stressful - I still have moments when I relive those days, very glad it was in the past. Kudos for not letting it derail your weight goals!
