Trader Joe's has a version and I've seen some at Target.

I know you don't prefer online but check out Surge Fabrics, they have several performance fabrics that I've heard good things about.

Helped with the pain I was having in my inner knee.

Im with you guys 100%. I'm in Bellingham and was just complaining earlier today about how the best time of year here and the last hurrah of summer seems to be a thing of the past. The last few years have been like this in August. We get a majority of the smoke here from the BC fires but also get it from the east. This…

I really liked these bars actually. I thought they were way better than ther cliff zbars and if I'm remembering correctly, better than the filled regular cliff bar although, due to the high calorie count of the regular bars I only tried them once a long time ago. I got one of these Luna Rica bars for free and ended up…

I finished it and it's a major coincidence booster. I learned after that to trust that the program creators know what they're doing and to trust them instead of what I thought i "knew"about myself. I really truly think it's more a mental challenge than physical one.

From what I've heard, for the most part it's the distance you cover not how fast you're going that really makes a difference on calorie expenditure. For example 3 miles run vs 3 miles walked will be very similar, just that you'll be done quicker if running.

If I'm not mistaken, you were looking for advice not on HOW to modify but an app that would allow you to do so, correct? I just bought and downloaded the Run double app and you can enter a custom run with your run, walk intervals. I'm not sure if this is available on the free version or not but I bought unlimited for…

I always get the tavern double, its delicious and cheap!

I actually really like the tavern double. It's only $6.99 and 690 calories for the burger.

Trader Joe's has several delicious options in their refrigerated section with reasonable calorie counts. My favorites are the avocado green goddess (20 cals per serving!) A creamy cilantro one and a spicy peanut one. I want to say the other 2 have 60 cals a serving or less. They also have carrot turmeric and almond butter…

Has anyone tried the carrot cake or cardamom almond butter flavors of Tillamook ice cream? Have to say I'm tempted... for some reason I'm not able to post a picture from my phone but here's a link to their website. https://www.tillamook.com/products/ice-cream.html#,special-batch

For the most part, I agree with the others on not liking lightened versions. These however, are fairly low calorie (150ish?) and I LOVE them. I usually make a half batch and add a few chocolate chips and a couple chopped pecans but they are very yummy without those additions.…

Up 4lbs, down 3 so far.

I think it could help in the sense that your cardio and general fitness will be better but not necessarily directly related to running, at least in my experience.

I agree with a couple of the above posters on Yurbuds. I absolutely LOVE mine, have been using them for the last five years or so. ETA I have not tried any of the Bluetooth versions so I cannot speak to those.

I see someone above already mentioned it but my vote is tiramisu. It needs to sit for a day or two so it's the perfect make ahead. People will likely already have their fill of pumpkin, apple, etc so it's nice to offer something different, plus it's incredibly delicious. I'm either going to make that or bread pudding.

I'm not really a fan of the overwhelming yogurt taste in smoothies so I prefer cottage cheese, blends up really nicely.

Same, except I'm 5'8. Mostly 8's, some 6's.

I realize this is an old thread with a few new replies but deferral people have suggested adding cornstarch. For cornstarch to work as a thickening agent, it must be heated to 95 degrees Fahrenheit.

I have the bottom one in the above photo with the round glass base. I've had it since 2009 and use it all day every day as I weigh ingredients for baking accuracy as well as calorie counting. Never had any reliability issues, only complaint I have is the inability to weigh a big, heavy, full stock pot but I'm sure most in…

Nope, still there. My recipe tonight defaulted to that one.

Sunflower seeds? Low calorie? I wish!

Agree with the above comment about walking first. If your dog is not calm on a leash while walking, I would not even attempt running yet. My dog was calm/ controlled and still managed to trip me.

Thanks, I realize length would be dependant on neck or head size, was more interested in the depth since it can be folded, etc.

Thanks!

Would you mind sharing the dimensions of the neckwarmer thingee? It sounds perfect for what I need and would be so simple to make. I imagine it's a pretty lightweight material with good drape and stretch. Would you say that's correct? @rebben23

For no good reason I use both my old Garmin 310 watch (I love it!) and map my run. Accuracy seems about the same but I would choose the watch over the app any day. As long as you don't have issues with the GPS on your phone, I would imagine map my run would be pretty reliable.

I just returned my charge 2 back to the store. Unless wearing it makes you more active then you normally would I think its worthless, at least for me. After wearing it for close to a month and seeing the step count be completely off (didn't ccount steps taken while pushing a stroller or cart) flights of stairs wrong, sleep…

I second the Garmin or other GPS watch for instant pace data.
