I can somewhat relate to the dance thing. I’ve been a dancer for years, loved it, and that kept me in shape most of my life. Nowadays, I lift more and dance very little. I don’t particularly love lifting weights but I do it to target and build certain areas.

Hey ladies! Adding you all. :)

Great response to OP. I do this sometimes as well. It's always nice to have a plan plus it can definitely help to stay on track. Especially if you're counting macros and calories.

Welcome back missy. :)

I had a 6 inch meatball sub and some baked bbq chips the other day and it was great. So I’d say as long as you’re hitting your goals then go for it.
-
In! Going to add you. Trying to gain 5-7.

Today I did about 55 minutes of lifting and 20 minutes of cardio. I’d say that’s about standard for me. I lift 4-5 days a week and do cardio 2-3.

Hey girl. Welcome back. Goodluck this time around. I’m sure you’ll do great.

I love Dr. Pepper. But nowadays I stick with Diet Dr. Pepper or the occasional Coke Zero. Both of those satisfy my cravings. I do treat myself to Coke, Pepsi, or Dr. Pepper sometimes. Soda has always been my thing. I’d rather have a can of soda than a slice of cake any day. Thank god for Diet.

Buttermilk pancakes. So good.

I actually didn’t try to input anything into my diary. It’s way too complicated. But I’m pretty sure I went over. Don’t feel bad at all :)

Hey Oklahoma! And welcome. I’ve been into fitness and dance for years but when I stumbled upon this about 7-8 months ago, I found that it has really helped keeping track of things much easier. Before I just wrote everything down.

My confidence.

4 times a week works great for me.

Yeah, pretty much. Count my calories to stay in shape. Count my money to make sure my budget is on point. Y’know, same principle applies there.
-
You can do it OP, it just takes proper planning. Try zig zagging your calories in order to allow you to have more calories on the weekend.

Agree with the other posters here about Bret Contreras. He’s the king of glutes and his Strong Curves book is awesome.
