  • I haven’t been on for a few days so I’ll have to get reading this weekend. So tired these days. I’m so glad tomorrow is Friday. Work is picking up with prep for staff to return and then the students. Lots of planning, schedules, interviews/hiring. Mentally tired and I’ve only been back from vacation for 8 days! 🤣 Next…
  • Ginny-I’ve been to ortho twice and the first time they sent me to PT and everything was so painful and tight that they extended PT. By the end I felt great. Flare ups have been short but tight now it’s been about 10 days. Switching from Tylenol/Aleve to ibuprofen and this morning it feels a bit less intense. I do the…
  • Hope you all had a great Friday AC fixed at work and it didn’t get too bad at all. They had it back up and running after about 8 hours. My bursitis in my right hip is so painful right now. Hard to lie in that hip, climb stairs, stand up, walk, lift the leg, and with sitting the pain extends into the thigh. Time for my…
  • Home from vacation. I’ve kept to my goal of 7000 steps per day. I’ve made poor eating choices the past few days and my weight is up. Tomorrow the choices go back to normal and I’ll have to work for the 7000 steps because it’s going to be 93 and the AC will be down through Friday while they do some work on it. Fun! 😅😅😅 Hope…
  • Hope you all had a great Monday. Very rainy then torrential rains. We were dining on an outdoor deck with a roof so we stayed dry. It was raining so hard it was deafening but our scenery was beautiful. I did get my walk in later but nursing a lot of hip pain since I’ve been walking every day on vacation for 7000 steps. I…
  • Allie-Happy Birthday! Heather-Amazing photos! What an experience!! Enjoyed some pool time today and did some stretching exercises for my hips as my right has been bothering from the increased walking this vacation. Did a shorter walk late this evening and boy did that hip hurt. But I’ve officially exercised 7 days in a row…
  • Hi everyone. Thank you for this chat Barbie. I can’t believe how fast June flew. Saw the sunrise through the trees. Went for another good walk 1.75 miles. Then went out for lunch and had an amazing view despite the smoke haze. Hope you are all well. LeeAnne from NY .
  • Here are my walking views today. Gazebo, tennis/basketball courts and the path for all the trailers/RVs. The other is looking through the trees at the Adirondack mountains. So beautiful. I hope you all had a wonderful Thursday. My weight has gone up 3# but I’ve been eating different food so I’m giving myself a break. We’re…

It’s great that they followed up, hopefully they make some procedure changes. Rosemarie - It’s good you are keeping busy today,…
  • Rained until 3p-ish. Went for a walk. 1.26 miles. Hip bothered so I had to cut it short. Close to my 7000 steps though. I hope you all had a great Wednesday.
  • Machka9-wow! That elbow took a hit. Glad it isn’t broken but the swelling, bruising and pain, I’m sure will take a bit up heal. Heather-love the pictures!
  • Good morning everyone! Tuesday greeted me with overcast skies and the sun trying to peek through. By 1p we’re supposed to have heavy rain storms, wind and possibly hail. At least we’re camping in a trailer! I did my 1.5 mile walk already and am sitting by the fishing pond watching my husband fish. I’m glad for this…

  • Lanette- I’ve cut back on how much I’ve eaten without depriving myself of foods I like. I just don’t eat them often or as much when I do eat them. When I had lost the 90# I wAs working out at the gym 1-2x/day. Truthfully, it was exhausting as I’d be at the gym each time for 1.5 hours. Right now I’m walking and making…

  • Good evening everyone. I’m trying to remember to come here and read the posts ever day. Looks like of you have made some great connections. Looks like my husbands scan to confirm the metastasis is booking out until July 19. Let’s us enjoy our vacation before we get into planning his next treatment options. Today was a busy…
  • Would love some support on my weight loss journey. Prior to the start of the pandemic I had lost 90#. Put it all back on and then some. May last year I started again and got down 47#. Then my mom passed away and I lost all my will power and gained quite a bit back. I’m back on track since March and have lost 28#. Slow and…
