  • My costco gummies are 15 calories for 2, my collagen supplement is 35 calories, so that's not too bad
  • I use the same thing. My nails have been really brittle my entire life, since taking this my nails are much stronger.Collagen combined with stretching and exercise has helped my arthritis and SI joint issues. Is it a huge difference? No. I'll take any little bit of help though

  • I LOVE seeing changes like that! I keep a memo on my computer and write them all down so on the days I don't see progress on the scale or feel like I'm not getting ahead I stop and read that memo and see that, yes, I am making progress. Congrats on your "Dents" ...lol.
  • I can't compare to how it is to diet when you are younger, I am 48 and this is my first time ever trying to diet and so far I'm doing good. I've been at this for 4 years, lost a ton at first but the last year and a half I lost nothing. I just added in alternate day fasting and seem to be seeing small results finally.
  • "I always find myself going back to old habits in a matter of weeks." That right there is why. Now it's horribly frustrating to see others drop weight quickly, or see people losing faster then you but if you stick with it you WILL lose weight. Even with hypothyroidism your body cannot completely defy science; If you eat…
  • I know others have replied, I have no real advice except to stay the course and things will move again. HOWEVER my personal response is "How cute"...lol...my plateau has been A YEAR AND A HALF despite weighing and measuring every bite I eat. This week I finally dropped a pound and a half ...FINALLY. So I'm hoping this is…
  • Me too, that was where I first noticed it. My wedding rings are put away until my weight stabilizes after I'm done losing, they fall off now
  • Since you can't spot reduce fat you'd just have to lose weight all over and hope it's noticeable there...or get lipo. For the last year and a half i have been stuck in a plateau, but I just broke it the last two weeks by doing alternate day fasting...but that's what works for me and you'll have to find what works for you.…

  • https://www.iceland.co.uk/p/slimming-world-chicken-in-black-bean-sauce-500g/83390.html#start=1 Is that what you are eating?
  • Thanks for asking this question, I've now gone down the rabbit hole on information, this is an interesting supplement

  • Diet changes would be the best bet, I haven't heard of that supplement but most just give you very expensive urine. There are some promising study results though https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2410097/#S5title

  • I have been at this for 4 years now and I lost 95 pounds...that's great, but I gained 10 back during the pandemic and still have 40 to go. The time will pass anyway so why not use it to get yourself a better life? Yes it'll take time, but use that time while you still have it to give
  • I shop on Poshmark, so I don't resist much...lol. I've gone from a 3x to an xl, so I've replaced almost everything I own twice and will probably have to do so again. Before Covid I had bought a pretty dress, I have yet to have anywhere to wear it though. I have donated so many clothes that our local charity does not want…
  • You look FANTASTIC! As a fellow wheelchair user I love this...I'm down 95 pounds!
  • I'm horrible. Horrible because if a guy said that to me my reply would be "And that ladies and gentleman is why men overestimate their size". I'm going to hell...lol
  • Aww, ty, he's my baby. His name is Benny. I feel you on the ailments front; I have cerebral palsy and have had several surgeries over the years so things just don't work quite the way they should. I am too stubborn to give up though! I take I think 4000 iui of D, hadn't heard of Vit D having an effect on arthritis
  • Exercise eases my arthritis...not a ton, but at least I don't want to scream. I have arthritis in my hip, back, and foot
  • I am losing even with a cheat day. I was logging perfectly and not losing, my problem was that yes I was eating what the packaging said (one serving is 200 cals for example) but I wasn't WEIGHING out my serving using a food scale, I was just eyeballing it thinking it looked right. Even using measuring cups can give…
  • I have chocolate for dessert every night (but stay in my calories). Once a week I have an alcoholic beverage, and about once or twice a month I have a "Freedom day" where I let myself relax on my calories as much as I want. For achieving results ,of course the reward is better health, but I buy myself jewelry. It's pretty…

  • I take a multi, magnesium, and vit D. I should probably take calcium but I don't
  • This is my first time seeking out weight loss, I've never dieted before and I'm 48. I started at 44 and I've lost 95 pounds, but as the long duration of it shows this has been a VERY slow process. I just decided the time will pass anyway, why not use it to improve my life? Besides, it gave me focus point during this last…
  • I'd be curious about that too
  • What do you want more; To be comfortable all the time but have health complications, or to be healthy and work at it each day but feel pretty dang good?
  • Oh and a side benefit of tracking: I was just wondering why my tummy felt queasy...I forgot I ate chocolate covered cashews But I logged that snack without thinking and that explains it. Also a BIG benefit is my hubby can ask me how old leftovers in the fridge are and I can check my daily log and tell him if needs to be…
  • By the way HamiltonFamily...I love your hat :)
  • That's YOU. That's how you perceive tracking, it's not how all of us do. I do trust my cues, and plan on easing up on calories when I hit my goals....but I know me and if I don't track my brain will think "Oh but it's just a bit of extra cheesecake", and I will forget I ever ate it and have a snack or two later...before…
  • It amazes me how vastly different each state is handling this, heck sometimes each county is weird! My husband and stepson both got their vaccines here in California (stepson is special needs and hubby is listed as his caretaker). I can't get mine yet, and that's okay. I understand who needs it more then I do, I just wish…
  • We've been okay, at least we are now in our household. When people say "Oh we're staying home and doing everything right" usually they miss a step and are in fact getting together with a friend, or think wearing a mask 50% of the time covers it. When I say we are and have been doing everything right I mean I've been home…
