Thanks for all the advice. Just what I needed. A little pick me up to help get me back on track!

OK ... thanks. I just happened to stumble upon it. Didn't really hurt or anything. Feeling how my midsection had gone down and then felt the pop when pressing right under the sternum. I will check with the doctor.
-
Wouldn't that be painful, though?

Having been on Keto recently for about six months and now just counting calories, I have gone to the store recently and not bought anything. I told my wife that I feel like I am in diet limbo, not sure what to eat anymore.

All of the new, better than ever pizza creations they seem to come up with, of course when I am on a diet.

I often find myself seemingly sabotaging myself as well. Seems like every time I hit a new low weight, I take the attitude of having a treat since I am at a new low. Frustrating for me. Not sure why I do it.

Ever since stopping Keto a couple of months ago, I have had ice cream cravings on a daily basis. Those cravings usually lead to me consuming ice cream. Luckily, for the most part, I have made sure those cheats fit into my calorie numbers.

So envious. Love the North West! Thanks for sharing. Sure differs from my walks in Indiana. : (
-
Not my first walk/run. Last weekend, I did my first 5K, but had been doing C25K training for three weeks before that.
-
I weigh 203. The program, Runtastic, is what spit out the 700 calories.
-
I lost 68 pounds on Keto since March. Worth it for me.

This one is tasty.

Yes, totally new experience. I can see it being addicting. I kind of feel like Happy Gilmore playing golf, totally out of my element at this point.

How much more confidence you have in yourself. Sometimes, it feels like even a bit too much confidence.

Hello ... Male age 51 Height 5-9 Starting weight 270 March 2018 Current weight 205 Goal weight 165 I started the journey on keto up until about three weeks ago. Weight loss is finally starting to kick in again. I have started training for my first 5K, which I think has helped. I have tried to keep my daily calorie limit…
-
Yes, weighing food and logging it all. How many calories should I eat? I would like to lose 2 pounds per week, at the least one pound per week. I am 51, 5-9 and 207 pounds.
-
I have been consistent going on my third week and nothing as far as weight loss. I have even been starting to do the training for a 5K, thus more exercise. I think what I am doing now may be good for maintenance, but to get to my goal, I have to get back to Keto.
-
Yes, that is the first thing I usually say. Letting them know I still have X amount of pounds to go.
-
Just for today, I will do day two in my C25K workout as I work toward running a 5K.
-
I would love to work up to a 5K. Lots of work to do to make it to that point.
-
I feel much better eating the way I am now vs. what I was doing on Keto. Way more fruits and veggies now and whole grains.
-
I have 40 pounds to go. Also, by grams, this is my current macro for the 1,500 calories ... Carbs 150G, Protein 131G, Fat 42G.
-
I guess it comes down to preference. I would assume most would not suggest protein bars due to being a processed type food in nature. I have never used them, but would be willing if they are a good alternative.
-
I am about 2 pounds over my low weight when I was on Keto. I think it has stabilized. I look forward to losing again soon.
-
I found the macro on some macro site online for losing 2 pounds per week.

I guess maybe that is why I didn't feel healthy eating Keto. My fats consisted of burgers, sausage, bacon, etc. Not the healthy fats that you spoke about. I feel much healthier on my calorie deficit diet now eating more chicken, turkey, etc. I will see how it goes. I may reboot the Keto in a more healthy way eventually.
