You'll never lose any weight if you eat donoughts.

I eat 3 meals a day and generally have a snack [not necessarily a healthy one] after dinner, which is usually my biggest calorie meal. If I grazed on snacks all day I know I'd eat far too many calories...that's just me.

I only buy mini bananas for kids [about 60/70g] and eat a whole one. I leave the avocado stone in and put in the fridge for the next day.........the brown bits don't show when the avo is smashed on toast.

OP ....I'm on 1200 calories and am tracking calories, carbs, fat, fibre and sugar. MFP have set fat at 40g and fibre at 20g and I have been following this for 2 months now and am as 'regular as clockwork' movement wise. If I were you I'd pop to the doc and see what she/he says. Edit: Just like to add that I drink a lot of…

I remember a work colleague who wanted to lose a few pounds and said she'd heard of a fabulous new diet where you could eat as much fatty food as you wanted and you'd lose weight, as long as you didn't eat vegetables because they would make you put weight on.......well, she did just that and in no time at all she'd gained…

@mph323 wrote.... Oh, and I wanted to add - does anyone else remember back in the 70's (and maybe later) every single diet in every single woman's magazine started off with a 1200 calorie goal for everyone? Except for the one's that out at 900 and you worked your way up. No wonder no one ever kept off any weight they…

Taller & younger people can reduce their calories as they lose weight but someone like me [aged 70 and 5ft] start on the lowest calorie allowance = 1200 with nowhere lower to go. I do have a strategy to overcome this though.....as I lose weight [10lbs lost and 40lbs to go] I will be able to do more and more exercise to…

I'm 5ft [aged 70] and have 50lbs to lose altogether. So far I have lost 10lbs in 7 weeks [weighed in today] ....... 4lbs first week with water weight included and then 1lb a week. I am consuming 1200 calories a day. I am obese though so when I get nearer my goal the weight loss will slow down...probably to 1/2lb a week or…
