There is growing evidence that weightloss can safely occur for overweight or obese pregnant women, under the supervision of their doctor. I was in this position due to a health issue and with the help of my doctor and dietician, I believe I list around 15kg during pregnancy. As mentioned, get the credible advice from…

I follow a variation of the 5:2 'fasting' diet, which is essentially eating quite low calories (700 to 800) 2 days a week and eating around 1900 the other 5 days a week. I'm very deliberate as to which 2 days I select for lower calories, and don't exercise on those days, but this is a more sustainable approach for my…

Probably don't need to try too hard to keep the secret given fiance's username 😉

Thank you. I like walking, trashy podcasts and wine (in moderatiom, otherwise the initial problem can be much worse).

I kinda hope you might be alone in terms of this thread and OP isn't still taking Saxenda four years later. 😬😂😁

I will always enjoy eating too much of delicious food 😅 I just don't do so on a regular basis because it doesn't help my weight loss goals.

It's my opinion that a cheat day once a week is an indication that your usual eating pattern isn't a sustainable weight loss/ maintenance option for you.

Wine - true magic.

I don't think I'd last a day. Fortunately keto isn't necessary for weight loss.

I have admiration for those who are able to respond to hunger intuitively - it's a skill.

I'd probably say I'm flexitarian, but only because that reflects my food preferences, not to adhere to a particular 'diet'. When I'm with my boyfriend, I tend to eat more meat than I would alone because we cook meals together and he has a greater preference for it. That's just life.

It sounds like a cop out, but I am terrible at drinking water. My husband got me a Soda Stream machine and I enjoy soda water a heck of a lot more than plain.

Because I'm a heartless *kitten*, I wouldn't take any notice.

I can't do that. I need a calculator to tell me what to stick to!

I'm honestly not sure. When I was younger, I was around 58kg/128lb and that was potentially too small. Now I'm in my 30s and my body has changed from having a baby, so I'm thinking in the ballpark of 75kg/165lb. I'm going to wait and see because my body composition is different now.

I want to see my fasting blood suhar regulate, and hopefully not have gestational diabetes in my next pregnancy.

Diet coke, but I'm also not drinking litres of it.

Thank you for your insights, everyone. Waking up this morning to read these responses has been hugely helpful to starting the day anew and realising the weekend was one in a long journey of many. Though I don't feel that alcohol has been a problem in my life in that I don't experience addition and/ or reliance, I'm…
