Let me do the math. For someone starting over, four days of calorie deficit, with added exercise definitely has some mass deduction which might not be so apparent on someone working out for weeks or months. So there goes some calorie. Second point being calorie burn is somewhat correlated to heart rate and that is why we…

I dont think s/he was being conclusive of anything since s/he clearly said being an active kid and starting out again, instead s/he shared the point of the experience. Besides, the point definitely has some edge to it. No wonder its called cardiovascular health for nothin.

I have recently turned vegan and am exploring all kinds of recipes. The easiest and yummiest vegetable I found is squash. You can fry them, make soup of them, make pie out of it, bake it in some sort of crisp form, it thickens the gravy and it helps with my sweet tooth. Eggplant is also delicious. So is fried plantain. My…

I just made peanut yogurt (from peanut milk and dates) and it tastes delicious. I am guessing it will be a good combo of cereal, peanut milk, cocoa powder and maple syrup.

If you make your dairy public, maybe people here can help. It is very unlikely to gain weight on 1000 calories. si haces público tu diario, tal vez la gente aqui pueda ayudarlo. Es muy poco probable que aumente de peso con 1000 calorías.

There's a fare chance you won't like my answer but I will write it anyway. I wish someone said this to me when I was losing weight. Things would have been much different and easier. So, this 1000-1200 calories, will you be able to maintain eating this much for the rest of your life? What would happen/how would it affect…

Are you weighing your food?

They have almost everything. I am not sure about classes. Or that if I have access to the classes or not. I will have to look into it.

My cat died in March and I adopted a kitten two weeks back who is 12 weeks old and fast as the Flash. He is a lot of work and playing with him 30 minutes, twice a day has me sweating always.

I am new here. I downloaded the app Walk to Mordor and it got me super hooked. I am running around 9 to 11 miles for the past two weeks depending on how intense the spotify playlist is that day, haha. Anywho, I will have to take it down a notch, since blister. I am in for 200 miles.

I used to feel this way, then with a little bit of work, I adjusted my cheat food or the food that I am craving in my regular food. Also, started looking into recipes and making them in home. It works pretty well for me. It is a little overwhelming in the beginning, all the 'looking out for recipes', ' fitting cheat food…

I actually really like the idea of not using weights. It just did not cross my mind at all. I have been meaning to do dips progression, like with weights and train for planche, may be its time I use the time to hone these skills. Besides, I have done stronglift for a few months when I started working out in my early 20s…

Hi, I am 4'11'' and started at 140 last year. I lost the first 15 pounds earlier last year and gained about 5 pounds by the end of it and maintained it for about 6 months up until last month. Decided to lose the last 15-20 pounds (target weight is 105 pounds) by the end of this year. Started logging food from 17th of April…

Haha, its not really. I backpacked in my early 20s for about eleven months and gained about 5 pounds. So good food and way too much beer and those Jägerbomb haha.

That's what I do mostly.

I have never used resistance band. Can you suggest me some? Or some basic insight on it? Also, I am packing light, just a 40 litre Osprey backpack with 5 sets of outfit and a laptop and a drawing tablet.

I was eating somewhere around 1300-1400 and was working out for five days. I have been ravenously hungry for the past couple of months and ate 4000-5000 calories on a few days. I upped my calorie to see if that helps with my binges and it did. I eat around 1700-2000 calorie and I have more energy while working out and kind…

Thank you tons  My goal weight is 105-110 pounds which is 5-10 pounds more to lose. But I am quite comfortable of how I am right now. May be I will try to maintain this weight for another six months and then will think of losing the last pounds.

I want to consistently work on stomach vacuum for 30 days to see if it helps in my handstand.

I will let you guys know here about 4 weeks after of what happens. Thank you all for help.

I have been intermittent fasting all my life. I never eat breakfast and always end up eating my first meal 17 to 18 hours after, not intentionally though.

That is what I have started doing from today. I bought the apple watch yesterday and it seems like I was under estimating my calorie burn. I always assumed I burn 150 calories per 30 minutes of exercise. Looks like I burn around 500+ for 45-60 minute sessions which is almost the double. I am trying to stick to 1600 (120…

I think I will do this. I have no hurry to lose weight, I want to find a balance in life where I don't constantly think about counting my calories and have a good relationship with food and workout. I quit alcohol last year. It was the single most decision I have made that I am very proud of.

Like I replied in the previous comment, I never said I don't want to change my workout, but I don't like extreme workout like I used to do. I don't want to eat less. 1200-1300 just does not satisfy me and I either overeat or binge in the next few weeks.
