@mbaker566 - My mom always works out with a hat on. Sweatbands/headbands never stay on her head and she sweats like crazy so a hat works best for keeping the sweat out of her eyes.

@mbaker566 I always wear a hat. In summer to keep sun off face (only works at a few angles though), but mostly to keep the sweat out of my eyes! I have a Halo running hat that has a sweatband built-in. It channels the sweat to each side of your face so it doesn't drip down into your eyes and sting like HELL!! Actually doesn't work as well as their dedicated headbands, but it is more versatile (and not as dorky looking).

i could see maybe this one as it's made of that cooling fabric. i've got a towel and a buff made of that kind of material. honestly. haven't had much oppurtunity to use it thus far.

    June 1 – 7.16 miles

It was nice and cool at 46F this morning and low humidity. I felt I could have run the route again, but…work awaited me. My goal for the month is 130 miles. I’ve got half marathon on June 13 that the organizers have received special permission to hold. They have capped the number of participants. They plan to have wave starts. It will be interesting to see how it unfolds. It’s a challenging course out on country roads so it’s not a wildly popular race with some anyway. It’s in the Burke’s Garden area of Virginia. Beautiful country known as “God’s Thumbprint.” Story has it that at one point George Vanderbilt tried to buy it but was unable to and traveled to Asheville where he established Biltmore Gardens.

@kgirlhart – I’m so sorry for your loss.

@juliet3455 – sounds like your trail run was very adventurous!

@eleanorhawkins – can you tell a difference in your “feel” after a month of doing yoga every single day? That is so impressive!

@elise4270 – I love your summary of the human race! Sad but so true!

@skippygirlsmom – are you streaking again this month?

@mbaker566 – I use a hat to help keep sun out of my eyes and the band absorbs sweat on my forehead so that keeps it out of my eyes. There is a line of hats called Headsweats designed to specifically do that. Sunglasses bother me sometimes when I’m really sweaty and they slide down my nose!

Welcome to all the newcomers to this thread!
Anyone heard from @Camaramandy648 and her son's test results?

@mbaker566 I love my visor. I wear a knit cap for the coldest part of winter and the visor the rest of the time. It's got a velcro back so I can fit it exactly to my head, it's flexible for whatever I want to do with my hair (I've currently got short hair, but I've used it with really long hair in a ponytail too), and I don't have to put sunscreen on my forehead (which keeps it out of my eyes). Also, it keeps the rain off my glasses when it's raining.

    I’m so behind!

    We
    Got
    Results!

    Patchen is NEGATIVE!

PRAISE JESUS WE CAN LIVE AGAIN!

super glad i didn’t isolate him only to find out it’s not THE virus.

He seems to be improving and getting energy back so I will probably not push for more tests right now. What a strange few days it has been.

My June goal is 160 miles!

Good news is the BEST news!!!
