how do you see what's happening? How are we to know what to do?

Hi @JessiBelleW - I’ll add you. I’ve had some health issues lately and trying to get back to the gym to do 3-4 cardio sessions per week. I love it when I’m down there - but lately struggling to get out the door. I’d love an accountability partner. If it’s ok, I’ll add you.

Is there a google spreadsheet or other form where we can all lodge our weekly stats? @Tina_Marieng?

Hello All. I’m in! I’m attending a family wedding at the end of May - first time seeing the whole crew in years. It’s not going to be fun actually. I’m dreading it. One thing I can prepare for in advance and control is my appearance.

What did you KETO diet involve? It must have been hardcore to get you into ketosis. Apparently this diet was invented to treat epilepsy. Makes sense it would help with other neurooogical disorders.

Don’t know if the group is. But I am. Happy to help. Maybe we help each other up out of this pit of repeaters failures and misery.
-
Nope. I start things - and then either stress or boredom kicks in and everything goes out the window. I stress eat and procrastinate the hell out of whatever it is I’m trying to do for work. I cannot just sit down and read stuff and write a report about it. My head literally turns sideways whenever I try to read something.…

This sounds so like me. The procrastination is a killer though. And I just can’t DO anything that I need to do. The more urgent and important something is, the more I ignore it. Meds don’t help. Concerta made me throw up. Vyvance is having no effect. Doc has just increased my dose to 70mg after trying 20, 30, 50. NOTHING…

Hi. I’ve just hoping the group. Happy to meet fellow sufferers.

I’d love to join. Really looking forward to this

it depends on the person. I've been doing 20 push-ups 3 times a week (Nothing else on arms/upper body) for the past year, and have arms like Linda Hamilton in Terminator. I've had to stop cycling as my legs were getting too big. I can't squat or lunge, legs get really big. I've been doing 25 donkey kicks on each leg, and…

I’ve had a HORRIBLE 2 weeks. I keep gluten-ing myself. And I don’t know what’s doing it. It’s horrific. I woke up up this morning feeling back to full strength and without brain fog, and had cheese/jalapeños on my safe bread. I was wondering if it was either of these things : test day. Sometimes the fermentation agent used…

I ate gluten on Friday accidentally, so have spent the past 3 days in bed. The fatigue is horrific - it was only at lunchtime yesterday that I figured out what had caused it and that it's only a gluten-attack. It's always scary until I remember I'm coeliac and have probably eaten something off. Sadly, I've over-eaten to…

@jugar thanks for your comments. I've had a stressful couple of weeks, so unfortunately have been going up. The gyms have opened up here again THANKFULLY. So, I'm booked in every day for half an hour strength training at lunchtime - I can't wait. I'll be back on track and moving back down towards goal. My pre-breakfast…

I went to Ikea this week. I was due to move overseas, but 'Rona had other ideas. As a result, I had given away my furniture and all my clothes etc are in storage, so I've been living out of a suitcase and some random packing boxes. Now that stores are open again, off to Ikea to get some essentials for the next few months.…

@evangsimmons170 - your week is quite something. Talk about a work ethic!!!!! With bells on! Congrats on the job offer: am delighted for you.
-
@jugar - thanks so much for organising all this: I imagine that the work you and the other team leaders do behind the scenes must be quite something: several hours per week, at least. It is very much appreciated. Thanks everyone for your posts: it's wonderful to see the group dynamic of encouragement and support.

@jugar - your red lentil pasta sounds great.

@jugar My recipe for salmon/sweet potato fishcakes is super simple:* 1 large sweet potato. * 800g fresh or tinned salmon. In lockdown, I've been using tinned salmon: 800g. * 3 stalks of spring onion, chopped. * 1 tablespoon of mixed herbs. * Something to coat your fish-cakes: at the moment, I'm using dessicated coconut as…

I love your challenge: 10k steps for 100 days. that's awesome!! You're lucky to have some people to do it with also.

This morning - I cooked up a storm: * sweet potato, salmon & spring onion fish-cakes. * peppers stuffed with chick-peas in a tomato/smoked paprika sauce * rosemary bread All coeliac-friendly. Cooked in batches to freeze and re-heat during the week.
