It's been a good week, I'm still working long hours, that will never change. I'm up by 4 am so I can be at the office by 6:00, it takes a toll. I haven't lost any weight, but I haven't gained either. I've stayed on track calorie wise every day but one, and even that day wasn't too bad. It's almost 50 out today, so I need…

@its_cleo Did I read that right? A hundred lunges, I'm totally envious. @Joannadavison - enjoy your week long break, it's good to get these mental breaks from time to time. It's so good for my mental health, I need more of them. @cbabie I'm glad to hear you're not discouraged even if your life has been a challenge. It's a…

@its_cleo - It's great that you are finding ways to exercise, even with arthritis. I need to do a lot more in the exercise department... Future goal. I laughed at your post about having something done with your eyes. Me too, they make me look tired and worn out, and older than I am, it's my genes. @trooworld - You sound…

@its_cleo - It's great that you're committed to exercise, especially while you're doing rehab. I hope you find some relief for your wrist, arthritis is no joke. @trooworld - planning ahead for meals is always a good idea, but hard for me to stick to for very long. I love how organized you sound with all your meal prep and…

@mswatson0777 - A vacation sounds so good right now, anywhere with a little sun. It great that you feel you're looking better, that's great personal feedback for yourself. @theslightedgeforever - I hope you're feeling better soon @TeresaW1020 - Love your positive attitude. It's smart to plan ahead, it really helps to stay…

@its_cleo It's smart to make goals in 3 month clunks, I really like this idea. It makes things more manageable and doable. This is how you make changes become long-term life-style changes. Good for you for sticking to this goals. It's hard for me to stick to an exercise routine mostly because I'm working so much. It's not…

It rained here most of the day. I still walked during my lunch, just needed my handy umbrella, I was a little soaked when I got back to the office, but, I need that walk everyday. I've been working long hours, sitting behind a desk staring at spreadsheets or sitting in meetings, I come home everyday, eat dinner and go to…

@cbabie sleep is an important goal, but very challenging with a baby. Try taking catnaps during the day if you can't sleep all at once at night. Especially if your not feeling well. @its_cleo - Wow, I'm inspired by your commitment to exercise. @Joannadavison - Cleaning can be a good distraction. Snow storm hit Friday…

@cbabie -Rest is a good idea, I hope you're feeling better soon. @joannadavison -Going to the dentist is the worst, too bad I love my teeth so much @theslightedgeforever - You got this, you've made a plan and you're sticking to it. @trooworld- a bath before bed sounds like a great idea, it's been along time since I've…

@TeresaW1020 I admire your positive attitude, it goes a long way in ensuring things will turn out positive @its_cleo it’s great you have an exercise routine. It’s something I have to work on. I’ve been working long hours and pretty much come home and go to bed, I do walk on my lunch break. @mswatson0777 Good for you with…

@Mrsjenningsjr welcome!! @joannadavison I hope you’re feeling better I’ve been working hard, I’m tracking all my meals, but if I don’t lose a pound soon, I throwing my scale out the window.

Afternoon, I do so much better during the week. Everyday during the week I go for a brisk 1. 8 mile walk during my luch break. This helps so much, with my weight and mood. I try to exercise more when I get home, but it’s hard. I haven’t lost anything, but I feel I’m on track. @its_cleo I’m sorry to hear about your cat, as…

I’m doing the same. It’s hard to track your food correctly when you’re cooking yourself, remember portion size and log everything, even small bites and snacks.
-
Track even small bites, it will help once you’re recovered from surgery and start eating more. Make your food diary open to the public, it helps make you more accountable, and challenge yourself to be brutally honest with it.
-
Made back from my parents and it wasn’t too awful, I’m done eating for the day though. @trooworld thanks for the advice, I end up tossing a lot and that helps.
-
Try shortening the window at first and give it some time. I don’t like making big changes all at once because it’s too difficult to sustain, and it’s too hard to get back on track once you fall off. 16 hours is a lot if you’re not used to it. Start with 12 and build up an hour after a couple weeks and so on. You want the…

I’m heading to my parents today. We’re having pizza, wine and other great things. I’ve tried to prepare by eating less during the week and this morning, but it’s going to be rough today. My mom sends us home with too much good food.

Another day and I feel I’m on track. The weekends the big test. I did 2 thirty minutes of cardio today.

I’m in. I set my food diary to public and I weigh in monthly. I’m looking to lose 15-20 pounds. I’m great during the week, but I totally binge eat on the weekends. I’m not following any particular diet, because I want sustainable change. I’m doing intermittent fasting, which for me means I don’t eat early in the morning,…

Made it through NYE without completely going off the rails. I think I attached a before image , nothing fancy. I want to lose 15-20 pounds.

I like me fake cardboard Parmesan cheese even if it’s half wood shavings. It bulks up my meal and is comfort food to me.

I’m in. I’m new to this, how do we keep track of each other? Love my wine and whiskey, I’m Italian I don’t see me giving it up all together, especially at family gatherings. I can be more conscious of the calories I’m drinking though.
-
I’m eating a later breakfast because once I start eating it’s hard to stop. I found if I wait to eat breakfast I make better choices all day. Weekends are my nemesis, I completely fall off the rails. I want to focas on doing better on the weekends.

Love this thread. I stay on track during the week, but blow it on weekends. My goal to to post here regularly to keep me focused and motivated.
