@AnnPT77, @Springlering62, @cmriverside, @ninerbuff, @chris_in_cal, @sollyn23l2, @yirara, @SafariGalNYC, @history_grrrl --- just want to let you all know that I definitely do appreciate these forums! I usually don't post, because I don't have much advice in this department, but I love reading the insightful responses on…

I second getting some beans and grinding it yourself! Good coffee should be drank black.

To do 100 situps in a row. I want to do this before getting pregnant again.

Glad you got it all figured out! Glad to hear it didn't happen at the hospital or a medical clinic. In several areas, health care chart gets marked, and it will show up everytime your chart is pulled up. It is now a permanent record if someone blows a fuse harassing administration in a medical setting.

@BeverlyW1108 Hope you feel better soon! Mind sharing your cabbage roll casserole recipe?

My resolution: lose the holiday weight My intention: tone lower body My plan: ab exercises everyday My hope: have ab muscles showing My reality: I might not meet end goal, but that's okay, as long as the holiday weight is lost. Your turn!

@BeverlyW1108 yes, definitely indulging, but enjoying the time with family. Merry Christmas everyone!!!

@sarah7591 That is gorgeous!!!! Is that a warming oven underneath the clock? I love the double oven too!!!!!!! On another note, thank you for all your support ladies. I don't always log, or make time for home exercise, but I do read the community :)

Cutting out gluten will solve all your issues. Bread is bad. I grew up on a very very heavy bread culture (Netherlands) and this one really bothers me. Most people there are not overweight. Americans stop picking on bread!!! It isn't bread that is making you fat and giving you all your woes.

Thanks everyone for your sugar comments. I looked for a group in regards to this, and it is very sparse. I have been reading the thread "If I could have anything to eat right now without calories, I would have...", and I'm on page 44. Literally not a SINGLE person posted something that is 100% sweet & no fat. Like a big…

Welcome!!! There are many apps out there that send you daily notifications (I use the free app called Home Workout). If you do a different exercise, do it the same time each day & set yourself an alarm. Best of luck!

Cheap vs. Easy vs. Delicious--- best to have all 3 in one go so that you never have to buy a lunch. I'm going to resound what everyone else has said --- leftovers are #1. If you don't want leftovers, we often have yoghurt (buy a big tub & put into re-usable containers for every day of the week in the fridge) and add…

If you don't have the self motivation, one way to lose weight would be to set yourself some basic rules. You don't need as much motivation for rules. - No eating after 7pm (no snacks after supper, or a small snack depending on what time you eat supper at) -Only eat at specific times during the day (breakfast, lunch, and…

Hello fellow accountability peeps! Love reading this daily, though not always posting. Sounds like most of us are doing alright! I'm having a bit of a setback with old habits. Trying to break an extreme sugar addiction. For maintenance I'm at 3000cal, buy I just can't seem to help and break into eating an excessive amounts…

Switching to weekly. I was becoming obsessive and am concerned about developing issues if I do any more than that. If you are feeling obsessive, like you said above, I'd recommend going no more than weekly as well.

Keep it up @BeverlyW1108 ! I'm back in the groove of doing some home workouts every day. Taking a mental break from tracking and the scale for at least a week (I was becoming obsessive). With keeping up some basic exercises every day I'm fairly confident I will have stomach abs showing in a few months. Bye bye mama pouch!!!
-
Complete again!!!! Yayyyyy!!!! New mini goal: do it again!!!! 30 days are a time. I think I might actually see abs in a month or two if I keep this up! Also, another new mini goal is to NOT step on a scale or log food for one week. I'm finding I'm being a bit obsessive with the scale. This may be harder than exercising…

Nice to hear from you all, keep up the accountability! I have been doing less home workouts than I would like, just because I've been too busy. I've upped my calories to maintain current weight for a while. Hopefully this upcoming week I can get back to having a few more minutes in the day to do some workouts at home!

Congratulations on having your baby! 9m post partum & on minor weight loss journey has cost me a lot of milk supply. Be mindful if you are a nursing mother. Best of luck on your journey!

Pumpkin everything!!!! I love this time of year! Cook up some pie pumpkins and add spices to make some delicious pumpkin pies and pumpkin muffins filled with cream cheese or pumpkin cinnamon rolls with all that pumpkin puree!!! Spices that go along with pumpkin flavorings are amazing by themselves too! On everything please…

Thank you @Farmeress I'm at~2900-3000 cal average day for the last few weeks and still losing too quickly for my liking. It is saddening & frustrating to produce less milk than a month ago. I need to shed some lbs but would like to take the time to do so. Congratulations on your quick loss though!

I wrote about this recently as well in another thread (but I was eating thousands of calories per day in sweets). There were some really good tips there but these are the ones that stand out -do several jumping jacks everytime you feel this extreme need to have a sweet -limit your snack to snack time ONLY. I really look…

Thank you everyone for your insight. He is 6ft, 260lbs, in obese category 1. I have taken advice here and brought up my concern for the family heart attacks and I really would love to have my husband be a father for many years to our young children. He was understanding and we will work together to reduce portions and walk…
-
Thanks everyone for sharing your responses. A lot of insight given. I am concerned about his health (heart attacks run in the family).

Well done @BeverlyW1108 ! That is amazing. I've been jogging a few times a week with my elementary schooler for cross Country training (1.5km...), and I am looking forward to hopefully attain being able to run 5km! You are inspiring!
