question - I calculated my BMR, as instructed in the week 1 challenge, but don't really know what to do with this information. Is the point that if we consume less calories than our Activity level lists, we will start to lose weight? But that we need to consume at least the listed at-rest BMR to stay healthy? BMR shows the…

My DH Alan (KALISDADDY) recently had surgery and is healing well. He is doing daily walks now and each day is a little farther. Our friends are looking after our dogs and spoiling them. It's a relief not to worry about them. I couldn't have taken care of hubby and the dogs. Our house is so quiet and restful without our…

Quick hello. @Dianedoessmiles1 How much does it cost to store pictures on Google? Last night my daughter and her family came over for dinner. Hubby did most of the cooking and they did most of the clean up so it was very nice. Tonight I cleaned up the medicine cabinet. I emptied it out, wiped it down, sorted everything and…

@Ceriusly1 You have be so important to the success of the 5% Challengers. I've always said that when you put the teams together it's like herding cats, haha but you get us assembled and on our way. Without the accountability with our teams a Saturday weigh in would be just another weigh in, but I have a feeling of…

gintex2021 The reason I have stayed with the 5% Challenges - I need the accountability. Each minute of exercise matters, as do the Saturday weigh ins. Each day I try to be a little better than the day before and if I stray I have something to get me back on track. When I joined Sparkpeople in 2008, there was no one in my…

Hi team I am back!

In July I had covid and lost my sense of taste and smell. Some of it has returned, but because I don't get enough satisfaction out of the food I eat, I want to eat and eat and eat. It's caused havoc with my diet. I am considering keto.
